Overall (compared to other 3m ffp2 masks, such as the 9320), I noticed the following differences - disadvantages:
1. Although it covers the nose and mouth, if you talk, it is more likely for the chin to come out from the bottom of the mask. If you don't plan on talking often, or if you don't have a large face, this is not a problem.
2. It is quite "tight", resulting in prolonged use causing "fatigue" (to a degree of slight pain on the face) compared to other similar masks.
3. Its weaving is (paradoxically) denser. At least that's how it appears, as it is the only ffp2 mask I have used, which after several hours of use has accumulated so much moisture inside that droplets start dripping from the fabric (I am referring to the inner side) onto my skin/mouth!!!! Some may consider this as a positive. However, it certainly was not pleasant.
I bought 3 models of 3M masks to try out (8810, 1862, 9320). Good fit overall, but not so much if you need to talk a lot. For me, the most effective one was the 1862.
good application, durable but with tight elastic bands.
