Description

The Vintage ReIssued Series V6MSSB combines timeless aesthetics with modern design ingenuity.

A trio of Wilkinson WVS Alnico V pickups give the guitar the perfect balance of high, mid, and soft frequencies, exactly what you would expect from this guitar.

The Wilkinson vibrato bridge features an innovative stagger-drilled block, which radically improves the guitar's intonation while maintaining incredible return-to-pitch accuracy.

Whether you are looking for your first guitar or your last, every guitar in the Vintage ReIssued Series is what you are looking for.

Classic ST Body Shape

The ST body shape it features follows the lines of one of the most widespread electric guitars, like the Stratocaster. Its design has a double-cut body for access to the highest frets and an extended "horn" on the upper side that offers perfect balance during upright playing.

With a wide range of supporters, including Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Holly, David Gilmour, and Jeff Beck, it is clear that the ST Style shape can handle virtually any musical style.

Pickups SSS (3x singlecoils)

The Wilkinson WVS Alnico V pickups offer authentic vintage sound and modern power. The middle pickup with reverse winding and polarity provides hum cancellation in positions 2 and 4, while the Wilkinson humbucker in the bridge position delivers high output.

Vibrato

The Vibrato Wilkinson WVC bridge featured on the Vintage V6 is a masterpiece of detail. The 6-screw design provides precise pitch return and the high-quality steel saddles enhance tonality and "attack".

The cast block with Stagger drilling significantly improves pitch return accuracy and the classic vintage sound. The "push-in" arm with delrin-bushed and variable tension provides the arm feel that suits your style.

Body made of durable Alder wood & neck made of Maple

The Alder body offers a warm and full sound, while the Maple neck adds a modern element to the overall sound of the guitar. It is a time-tested combination of woods for exceptional tonal versatility.

Machine Heads

Patented Wilkinson WJ55 E-Z-Lok machine heads.

Simple, effective locking action for increased tuning stability. The ability to gradually adjust the string height provides the correct angle for smooth vibrato action and proper playing tension.

I bought it after my mechanic's recommendation. I have had it for 6 years now and I am fully satisfied.
    Comments:
Body alder-like. It is not alder, but it is still a great wood. Painted (polyurethane) and I weighed it at 2.3kg.
Easy neck (think classic 70's strat) hard rock maple, one-piece. The truss rod has never needed adjustment.
Radius 9.5 and slightly wider fretboard below the 12th fret, which personally suits me. However, be careful because the neck joint is also slightly wider and does not allow for changes in necks from well-known manufacturers. I had to have the frets sanded down myself since I am skilled (cost €70).
Super pickups. I initially tried to replace them with Seymour Duncan ssl1/ssl1/ssl5, but the subtle difference in sound did not justify the expense. The sound, on my equipment, is great for general 60s without exaggeration in bass and treble. The mids are excellent.
The electronics are okay. It would be good to install higher quality cables and potentiometers, but if there is no need, there is no reason to change them. They do not add any noise.
The bridge and tuners are the highlight of this guitar. I have the tremolo floating and it does not lose tuning. Although I am a fan of the vintage look, I honestly have nothing negative to say about them.
    Overall, I highly recommend it.

The Mi bass does not have good tonality.
