What can I say? It's a shame for the synthetic leather to wear out in pieces everywhere due to such poor sound quality and battery life. Let's go for something else after 3-4 years
First of all, I want to say that because I am a fan of Marshall, I had high expectations for these headphones, and in the end, I was right. These headphones are simply perfect for anyone who doesn't want to carry something heavy on them, to have headphones with quite good sound with good bass and treble, and to forget when they last charged them..! Before these, I had the first-generation AirPods Pro, so the first and most significant difference was in the different type of headphones, but in the end, it didn't cause me any issues; I got used to them very easily and quickly! The battery lasts (for me) about 3 weeks + a few days, and I use them every day, if not all day, more than half the time they are in my ears (music, calls), yet the battery lasts so long! I am extremely satisfied. The microphone is quite good and doesn't seem like it! When you see that it has a microphone, you think, "Well, okay... it won't be perfect..." But it is! I remind you again that I had the AirPods Pro and I had complaints from those I spoke to on the phone that when I was near the highway, I couldn't be heard at all, and only the cars could be heard... But with these, they understand me (they don't hear me perfectly) even when cars are passing right next to me! And that's why they have become my favorites, and I wear them all the time.. Now, regarding the quality, I don't have much to say.. Those who know Marshall know that they are very good in the manufacturing aspect. They are very flexible, and you don't have the fear of them breaking in your hands like some other headphones might. The ear cushions are quite comfortable, and finally, the best part is that if you want to put them in a bag, they become the size of a handful! They fold incredibly well, and it has been convenient for me while traveling. The sound is amazing! It gets quite loud, and you can hardly hear anything from around you! But keep in mind that it doesn't have noise cancellation, and you will hear the surrounding sounds, not as much as you would without the headphones, but you get the idea. Finally, I wanted to add that when I wear them for several hours, I start to feel a slight tingling in my ears, and after a while, they begin to hurt, but if you take them off for about ten minutes, it goes away, and you can continue... Perfect headphones. Perfect sound. Easy connection with Bluetooth. You can talk comfortably on the phone while wearing them and they hear you just fine. They also look very elegant. I recommend them a thousand times!!!
Three stars because even though they are good as headphones, they hurt my ears from the pressure and how they fit, and I have to take them off!
Very nice design and quality materials. The only downside is that the folding points are made of plastic and I don't know how well they will hold up over time. Other than that, it's a choice that is worth the money.
+ The battery really lasts for many hours, I use them for days until I need to charge them.
- I wish they were more comfortable on the ears or over-ear, if you have sensitivity you won't be able to wear them for hours continuously without discomfort.
Simply fantastic! I wear them every day for an hour while walking for a month now. The battery is still at 60%... now for those who say that the sound didn't excite them, they should take a look at the quality (format, bitrate, etc.) of the songs they are playing. Preferably, if it's mp3, it should be 320kbps; if you don't know what that is, look it up, ask, read. For the more audiophiles, it also has a jack cable and supports superior formats (flac, etc.) for their price, they are jaw-dropping... obviously, they can't compare to headphones costing 200-500-1000 euros, but in their category, they are excellent.. lightweight, comfortable, even with glasses, soft sponge that doesn't hurt skin-ears. They work well for phone calls too; from what they tell me, they hear me very well, but they also pick up a lot of the surrounding environment when I'm on the street (motorcycles, cars), but you can talk without any issues, no "what, I didn't hear you."
Very good battery life , sounds is quiet good also , they are comfortable for use of like 1 to max 2 hours ,as my opinion is more suitable for people with smaller head
Excessively good sound, a battery that makes you forget how many weeks ago you charged it while I use it daily for about 7 hours for remote work, material and color excellent. A small downside is the microphone but I won't take away a star since, as usual, the built-in microphones of headsets are frankly unacceptable. I use a separate condenser microphone but I have tested it with the Marshal as well.
They have significantly lowered the build quality and sound compared to the old wired ones, the sound is not clear... They feel quite light like fake ones and the Bluetooth never worked! Perhaps the specific ones I received are defective.
You forget to charge them. Very good price and they are worth 100% of their money. Nice design and the brown color is very beautiful. Worth it.
6 months of use and I have to say they are excellent, of course it took me a little time to get used to the button to control the sound etc but it was nothing. Overall, the sound isolation is good, not full noise canceling but good. The battery has very good endurance for someone who is a heavy user like me, as I am almost always with them, about 11 days or even 15 days later it has happened to me that they needed charging. On a 17-hour trip that I took with a full charge, it was very good and if it needed charging, I used the power bank without any problem. They are the best headphones I have ever had, I recommend them without hesitation, they are worth the money!
I have had this specific product for 1.5 years, and I still wonder what all the mediocre and bad reviews are referring to. The sound is fantastic for music, personally, I use it a lot in the office for meetings and it's just fine, really. The battery is from another planet, I have probably charged it 10 times in 1.5 years. The build quality is excellent, it hasn't frayed at all and I use it regularly for the gym or running, traveling, I just throw it in bags. The only thing that acts up is the Bluetooth connection on PC if you want to use it for meetings, it often freezes, but you can just use the cable and you're good to go. Excellent product, really.
(+) Extremely lightweight and with a battery that never runs out. Also, the Bluetooth connectivity is very easy and has a great range. Clear sound for both music and conference calls.
(-) With use only at home and without being pressed or subjected to wear in a bag or in outdoor conditions, the leatherette on the headband and ear cushions started to disintegrate after 2.5 years from purchase. In communication with Marshall's support, the headband is not replaceable. It is important to keep this in mind before purchasing.
COMPARISON WITH MAJOR II:
The headphones are much more comfortable compared to the older wired (only) model.
You can see in the photos that in the old model the cushions are parallel to each other.
- Personally, they pressed me back on the ears where I wear glasses and after a few hours of use they became a little uncomfortable.
In the new one (major IV) the cushions have enough tilt between them.
- They don't press me at all, something that surprised me until I noticed their tilt.
- This tilt obviously means that you can't wear them upside down, something you can do with the major II.
- They slip more easily if one earpiece is on the cheek, meaning they come off when you bend over. If you wear them normally and in both ears they are very stable. (or if you put one earpiece behind the ear, there is no problem).
In conclusion, the major IV headphones are a substantial upgrade and worth buying, especially compared to the major II.
Quality, the buttons they have are very convenient and you forget to charge them with the battery life.
I agree with what the previous speakers said about the sound quality, battery, etc., but unfortunately, the faux leather on the ear cushions is not very durable and easily comes off from the attached interior. However, in my opinion, this is not a reason to downgrade my purchase (to a significant extent), but for some people, it may be important, so I mention it. Also, I noticed that at high volume, people around you can hear what you're listening to, and the sound isolation is not the best, but rather average. The fast forward and rewind function (which is done by holding the lever to the right or left) that other comments mention doesn't work, I discovered that it only works in certain applications (for some reason, it doesn't work on Spotify, but it works fine in the pre-installed application on my Xiaomi phone). As for comfort, personally, I haven't felt any pressure even after many hours of listening, contrary to other comments I see, which mention discomfort after an hour, so I assume this is personalized. I definitely recommend them, especially now that their price has dropped below 100 (I bought them for 150)
I bought them three years ago, still going strong. Excellent sound quality and noise cancelling, excellent battery life (I don’t think I have to charge them even once a month, but that depends on the usage of course). Might not be ideal as a hands free device for calls, if that’s what you’re looking for
The cables and pads disintegrate after a year. Really poor quality for such a brand name...
They have good sound and good battery. You forget to charge them. It is very convenient that there is also the alternative of wired, that's why I got them after all. They are generally convenient, they bother me from a point and after, but I wear them many hours a day, this also happened with other headphones.
Convenient also the button on the side and that they fold. Time will tell.
Both the Ear Pads and the cable after 2 years of use are for throwing away.

I had the Major 2 for years until the cushions and the leather were destroyed. I went for this one. What disappointed me, because I am a Marshall fan, is that the build quality seems lower and I think that 102 euros is an excessive price. Maybe around 70-80 would have been a very good value for money choice. If needed, I will come back after some time of use to see how they wear.
After two months of use, I came to lower the stars to three and to mention additionally that they do not have such good sound insulation and they do not hear me well in calls via Bluetooth and issues with pair/unpair. Very good battery life though.
I was very disappointed with these headphones, while I expected a lot from Marshall & their price. As for construction, they are very solid and beautiful, but for me the sound is very mediocre, not "clean", and they have no sound isolation, which means that in the metro, buses, etc. you can't hear a thing from the music. After one hour, my ears hurt a lot because they are on-ear, and after two hours you don't feel the pain anymore (no exaggeration!). The worst and most important thing of all was that after 6-7 months, the Bluetooth function completely stopped working, it couldn't connect to any device. Unfortunately, they are not worth it at all, with the same amount of money you can get Edifier headphones and be better off!
First of all, in terms of sound performance, bass, as well as build quality and feel, the name says it all... Marshall!!!! Flawless on all levels.
However, I noticed the following in comparison to a pair of JBL headphones that I have.
1) Difficult and tangled parallel connection with multiple devices, unlike the JBL headphones where I can hear sound from my PC and when I receive a call on my phone, it automatically switches to that.
2) Considerable delay in Bluetooth mode (I haven't tried it with other headphones, maybe others are worse), so for immediate sound, wired connection is recommended, which is also an exceptional feature that not many headphones in the same category have.
I consider the price to be a bit high, but it corresponds to the name they carry.
Overall, they leave a positive impression!!!
Edit: I'm taking away another star. Tragic build quality and materials. Although my usage has been minimal and careful (only on a trip and vacations), the headphones have started to deteriorate on their own after 2 years while sitting in the drawer. All the leatherette surfaces are melting and shedding pieces. I've never seen this in any other product before. For this price and brand, it is unacceptable. Many users report the issue with photos in their reviews.
Decent headphones that definitely do not live up to either the brand or their price. The build quality seems quite good, and after a year and a half (mostly light use during trips and vacations), they haven't worn out anywhere. They are quite lightweight, and their design is nice and has a vintage feel. The knob is a very convenient way to control them, and when folded, they become very compact and fit in a pocket. The sound is quite detailed and clear both at low and high frequencies. Unfortunately, however, the maximum volume is quite low, and the bass is not satisfying. If you combine this with the mediocre isolation, then in a noisy environment or on a busy street, you don't hear much. Also, they are not the most comfortable to wear for a long time. Although the padding is soft, the "bridge" connecting the headphones is short and has "stiff" elasticity. This, combined with the fact that they are on-ear (not over-ear), results in pressure on the ears, which becomes tiring and warm after a while. Finally, I don't know if it's an issue with my specific unit, but I find the Bluetooth connection below average. It struggles to maintain a stable connection (especially if there are obstacles in between) at much shorter distances compared to ten-euro Bluetooth headphones. For some reason, the problems become even more pronounced when I connect it to devices that already have 2-3 other connections (e.g., a PC with a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard). Overall, they would be mediocre headphones even if they were half the price, let alone at this price.
Coming from the MID, I couldn't resist and bought this particular model, MAJOR IV, from the well-known MARSHALL family. Rich bass with perfectly balanced mids and highs! Lightweight (ideal when lying down), comfortable to listen to with a huge battery life of 80 hours (as of 2023). With 94 and something high euros, you enter properly prepared for a musical extravaganza mainly from the Rock and Metal scene! In these "fields," there is no other tractor to plow...!!! Whatever Marshall writes and is related to sound, take it with closed eyes! Anyway... you won't need them...!!!
Personally, possibly the best headset I have ever used. Although my previous ones were not bad, the difference in sound quality is tremendous. So far, they haven't worn out at all and I use them daily. They charge quickly and with daily use for hours, I only have to charge them once a week / once every 10 days at most. I believe the ear cushions will wear out reasonably in the next year, but for now, there are no signs of wear. They are definitely worth their money.

Excellent sound, which for me is the most important, good microphone, battery that lasts really long, portability. Personally, the fit in my ears seems fine, but since many complain, it's better to try them before buying.
The construction is generally good, but there is an issue with the fact that after a certain point (typically around 3 years) the leather on the ear cushions and the bottom part of the headband starts to peel off. There are relatively cheap replacements for the ear cushions (around ten euros) and the change is quite easy. For the headband, things are a bit more difficult. It's a shame for me, because otherwise these headphones could last a long time, but the issue with the leather might bring you to the point of replacement after 4-5 years of use.
Overall, as headphones, they are really good (even knowing about the leather issue, I chose to replace my Major 3 with the Major 4). But when you spend 100 euros or more on headphones, you see it as an investment, and I believe that for this reason, the construction should have been more carefully done.
They are small, resulting in not fitting in my ears. After 1 hour they start to press me and I want to take them off.
The material they have on the earbuds peels off over time.
In the summer, my ears get hot from them.

Very high-quality headphones both in terms of construction and sound. Also, very stylish with a nice design. I have been using them for over 1 year at the gym and on public transportation, and they don't tire me at all.
