  My experience concerns the Nikon Z6ii in both photography and video scenarios. In photography, I have never managed to take less than 2500 shots with one fill in 12-bit raw + normal Jpg. How do I do this? The camera is in Eco mode, and whenever I work, it doesn't work for more than 30 seconds, so I turn it off. The corresponding EN-EL15b, with 2 years of use, gives me about 1800 shots, which is still a very good number.

  Now, in video, shooting in internal 4K 50fps, my battery lasts for about 200gb of footage until I change it.

  Attention, do not leave it unused for a long period of time. If it remains forgotten in a drawer or on top of the digital camera, without any use at all (for example, for 12 months), it is almost certain that afterwards it will not charge or if it does charge, it will no longer have its normal duration but MUCH less. That's how I destroyed many expensive Nikon batteries for my digital cameras, which were useless for many months. If you use it normally again, you will be impressed by how good the battery is and its long charging duration as well as its lifespan. If you will not use it for a long period of time, make sure it has at least half the charge and charge it periodically so that it remains at those charge levels for as long as you do not use it. Be careful, about half the charge, not a full charge when it is going to be stored for months. That way it is better preserved and its elements remain active for recharging and use!
