Description
The orthopedic mattress from the company Ypnos is firm, double-sided, and specially designed for overweight individuals with great durability over time.
Its cover is made from elastic Soft Touch fabric with high-density knitting and Antibacterial treatment, and its filling is from antibacterial Dacron wadding. The semi-firm layer is made from Extra Foam in the core, a material specially designed and processed to offer durability and elasticity to the mattress.
The specially processed coconut fibers, sprayed with natural latex (Coco-Latex), provide extra reinforcement to the mattress. The mini-Bonnel spring system with high-support Overweight technology used, as well as the perimeter support from Extra Foam Belts, offer great durability and help in the proper support of the spine.
The fibers and fabrics used in the mattress are certified by OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100.
Maximum Pressure per person on each side of the mattress is 130kg. Manufactured in Greece.

I have had the Ypnos Atlas Overweight for a little while; it replaced an anatomical mattress that had developed dips, and it took my body about 10-15 days to get used to it. It is quite firm, but that is how orthopedic mattresses should be. Its durability will show over time, but it looks excellent.
I am removing one star because it is unfairly packaged with just one layer of plastic, while it will need to change 2-3 carriers to reach its destination and will likely have acquired holes/rips and may have come apart, resulting in dust, soot, charcoal, and whatever else is around it from pollutants and odors getting inside. It’s a shame for such an expensive product, which is meant for someone to spend a third of their day on, to arrive at the customer in less than perfect condition.
Update: After some time, the conclusion is that this mattress is ultimately too firm since we were waking up every morning with severe back pain. I had to buy a 10cm foam mattress that I placed on top as a topper. I am removing another star and do not recommend it to those who have not had a similarly very firm mattress for many years.

Generally, I researched a lot before making the purchase, and they helped me a lot from the store. The store was excellent, I can say, in its service. The perimeter, you should know, is now dark blue and not gray. Personally, I had a problem with the transport, as it arrived dirty and torn from the side where the air vent is. The store told me it is the responsibility of the transport company, but they offered to fix it by sending it back. However, I can't stay a week without a mattress. I believe that a simple transparent nylon for wrapping is not enough. They should have at least had a cardboard around it.

I bought it two months ago for my mother who has orthopedic problems. She wakes up more rested than with any other mattress she had in the past. It is firm and comfortable at the same time, just like in the description. Excellent quality-price ratio and impeccable service. I highly recommend it.
