Although expensive for such a simple construction, it does its job and is lightweight. It has protective plastic on its legs and on the top part of the U, which helps a lot in not damaging furniture and floors if you hit them with the ladder. 4 stars just because it doesn't sit completely well on its legs when fully open, but not something tragic that would make you afraid to use it.
