This door pull-up bar is ideal for home use. It is made of steel and features foam handles to reduce pain during exercise.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Sturdy and without screws. Just make sure to check if it has loosened and tighten it better every few uses: as you sell, it unscrews a bit.
Half a year of intensive use.
Pros: Very convenient cushions that don't slip, easy installation, price. Solid bar, which also doesn't slip (compared to other pull-up bars), and can be used as weight for arm muscle exercises.
Cons: It would be helpful if the cushions could be moved: they don't cover the wrist in wide grip pull-ups, only in chin-ups. Not very high-quality construction, in a few months one piece that sticks to the door came off, and then the other. Also, there was a cracking sound in the screwing and the internal mechanism probably broke. So I would recommend it for people who plan to screw it a few times and leave it there, not to change its position.
For 7-8 euros, of course, the negatives are not enough to not give it a 5/5 rating.
Uses outside of pull-ups: It is also useful to be placed low for other exercises, such as calf/hamstring curls, back exercises, and abdominal exercises that require grip (like dragon flag). It can also be used for stretching.
Installation tip: Twist the metal ends (quite a bit, the first time - be patient!) as if unscrewing them, until it unfolds and reaches approximately the length of the casing. Place it roughly at the desired height and start twisting again until it becomes as stable as you think. Afterwards, if you want to remove it, with reverse twisting, it will gradually start to wrap back to its original length.
The cheapest on the market and one of the best. You just have to squeeze it a little if you use it a lot (if you haven't put the screws in).
Update after 4 months:
When I tried to squeeze it, it made a loud noise. And since then, it doesn't fit, it doesn't squeeze at all.
At first, it was very good but now it's just garbage.
Screwed to the wall, it holds my weight (85 kg) without bending. It doesn't unscrew if you do the exercises in the correct direction
For 7€, it's good.
I weigh 72 kilos and when I placed it opened at 98 centimeters, it bent. Also, because when I opened it for testing to the maximum there was no stop, it completely unscrewed.
In the end, it was installed on a wall at 80 centimeters where it seems to hold.
It tightens very well, but it's better to put in the screws. Both ends need to be unscrewed at equal distance for more stability.
The cushions are at a distance that is quite small for pull-ups aimed at training an adult's back and are more convenient for close grip bicep curls. If you move them to a greater distance, they fit into the narrower folding section of the bar and are not as tight. Either way, they will wear out quickly.
Despite all the drawbacks, I would recommend it.
After months of intensive use, the pull-up bar has not suffered any damage.
I bought it for a clothes hanger haha. I found it cheap. I didn't trust it for what it really was.
I have placed it here for 2 months with one screw on each side and it is quite stable, easily lifting 85 kilos and it seems like it will hold.
Well, I've had it for about a year and for €8 I didn't expect it to be so good!! I do calisthenics at home, so I do pulls and the like on a daily basis, and I'm very satisfied that it has held up and continues to hold up so well!! The only downside is that you have to drill holes with screws in the door for the bars to fit in, which doesn't bother me that much, it took me about 10 minutes to install it, so no big deal!! Finally, I have to say that I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to engage in pulls and the like, it can withstand up to 100 kilograms!!
It's fine for its price, no issues so far. I haven't put the screws on, so I tighten it a little every time I use it. If I get tired, I will secure it with the screws and it will be complete.
Overall, it's not worth it at all. It's better to spend a little more money because firstly, if you don't put the nails on the door, it comes off immediately. I weigh 70 kilos and it kept coming off all the time. Additionally, it bends a little
Not worth it.
It bends and falls down very easily.
I weigh 60 kilograms and I fell on it over 3 times.
Give a little more money and go for a better option
I relied on the positive reviews and I made a mistake. I weigh 78 kilograms and it is incredibly tight. Give something more and get a quality construction!!!!
I always evaluate a product based on its price.
For the money it asks for, it does its job very well.
I haven't screwed it on the door and it is held by the suction cups it has.
I have been using it for about a year and I haven't had any issues.
However, I would like to emphasize that I weigh 70 kilograms, so someone who is heavier should go for something more expensive and of higher quality to be sure and avoid any injuries.
In large doors, when you open it too much, it has some flexibility. I am 67 kilos and I didn't expect any issues in small doors, and it also has nice cushions, but after a while they break and they are not as soft as when you first got it. For its price, it is value for money.
For the money, very good construction. Easy installation without applying the screws. I placed it directly on the door frame. Be careful not to pull from the side that unscrews, as you may fall.
Just a few hours ago I received the product and I am amazed. For the price, it is not good, it is FANTASTIC. It seems to have a solid construction, the handles are very helpful, and the metal part doesn't seem to bend easily. Considering the price, it is more than perfect (6.50€). Of course, time is the most important criterion. If it presents any problem, I will write again, although I don't think it will be necessary.
It's perfect! My brother (60-65 kilos) uses it every day and hasn't had any issues. Easy to install, but it requires a lot of strength. Make sure to tighten it well!
For its price, it is very good, I recommend it. It just needs a little attention to be placed correctly and not to loosen.
For the 6 euros it costs, for chip ups / pull ups, it is exactly what it should be. It does its job.
**Put the screws in so you don't end up on the floor**
Very satisfactory quality, which you do not expect for its cost. Just be careful with the following: if you weigh over 50-60 kilograms, do not hesitate to put the screw in the frame to lock it, only then will it stay stable without fear. The first time I tightened it lightly and tested it by pulling it to see how well it holds (of course, I got hit in the face, I only got away with a bruise and my nose didn't completely break). However, with the correct installation as stated in the instructions, it can easily withstand a lot of weight without fear.
It holds a lot of weight and without screws. Every time before I do repetitions, I check it to have my mind at ease.
Classic monopod, no need for screws to secure it (although they are included), as it tightens in the classic way. It looks quite sturdy, absolute value for money.
It's fine, like those that sell for 10 and 15 euros in branded stores
Apart from the fact that it unscrews easily and requires attention, it is quite good and does its job. It has screws for the door handle. I would prefer to avoid them, but it wouldn't be safe.
.
Update in October: its cushions came off.
I can't understand why many people say that it is difficult to install. Firstly, I should note that I did not use the screws. First of all, you open the pull-up bar from both ends until it reaches the length of the door (you open it, do some tests, etc.). Once it reaches the desired length, you place it (slightly looser, of course) and then tighten it by rotating the cushions. Simple logic, not rocket science. As for it unscrewing when doing exercises, when doing pull-ups, you look in one direction, and when doing chin-ups, you look in the opposite direction, so that in any case, you "tighten" instead of "loosen". You will find the right way yourselves. I hope I made myself understood.
Hello, the money is worth it. Of course, sometimes when you exercise, it starts to loosen up...
At first, it was quite difficult to figure out and place it correctly. But eventually, it is installed and it is very stable. Very good for its price, I must say, like most people
Unfortunately, we were unable to install it on the door. The handles turn in opposite directions, which makes it difficult to place. But even when you do manage to place it, it continues to turn. Therefore, it is not stable on the wall.
Without the screws, it fell on its own..!! With screws for now, it's okay.. Good foam handles, generally what you expect for its price.
The pull-up bar is very good for its price and relatively good quality, but... I find the grips to be a bit poor. The reason is that they don't protect you or at least reduce the pain from a regular bar. If we exclude the fact that you can't easily do wide grip pull-ups, the pull-up bar is decent.
Really a value for money purchase, no comparison to previous scales and with a system to secure it more safely with screws.
Very good for its price. Convenient cushions that do not slip and do not require screws because it fits well and does not damage the door.
