The Plantronics Voyager Legend is a wireless Bluetooth headset designed for users who need a reliable headset for professional use or for use while driving. The headset features special characteristics such as noise reduction technology, voice processing, water and sweat resistance, and long battery life. Additionally, the Plantronics Voyager Legend has a built-in sensor that recognizes when the headset is being worn and when it is not, allowing the user to automatically answer calls as soon as they place it on their ear.
It withstands sweat while the smart sensor "senses" when you wear or remove it. It has three microphones that reduce external noise and improve voice performance. The noise-canceling microphone ensures that meetings and conference calls will be more productive as the sound from the headset is so clear, even in the noisiest environments.
With the "precision audio" feature, noise from movement, wind, or background sounds is minimized while the multiple microphones optimize your voice to reach your interlocutor crystal clear.
"Smart Sensor" Technology
The sensors "detect" when you put on or take off your headset, aiming to optimize conversation and save energy. Putting on the headset: it will answer incoming calls, automatically transfer any active phone call from your mobile, or continue music streaming. Taking off the headset: it will transfer any active call to your mobile, pause music streaming, and "lock" the call button to prevent accidental calls.
Comfortable and durable
Durable and extensively tested, the Voyager Legend, thanks to its flexible materials and lightweight design, offers a comfortable fit and is ideal for long hours of daily use. It even comes with eartips in three sizes for even greater comfort. With P2i protection, they withstand moisture and sweat.
You only need your... voice!
Press the Voice button and use your voice to ask for information about the battery level, connection status, etc. You can also say "What can I say?" to hear the full list of voice commands.
Top "Wind & Noise Canceling"
The Voyager Legend uses Plantronics' most advanced noise-canceling technology, with three microphones and three levels of wind noise protection. Thanks to the advanced technology, you will be heard perfectly even if the traffic on the road is the… worst or you are in a crowded environment.

Very comfortable and fast to wear, you just need to get used to the placement process. Very good waiting and speaking time, as well as very good two-way sound quality. The only downside I face is that it requires its own adapter for charging. Overall, very satisfied after two months of use, on a professional level.
I bought it a month ago 1) because it had good reviews and 2) because I had previously bought headphones from the company Plantronics and I was satisfied. I only use the headphone for connecting to the landline phone at home. I can hear very well with whoever I talk to, however they told me that they can't hear me well or they hear me from the... beyond. I was also disappointed with the battery life. I'm sorry because I believed it would be a decent headphone.
I have had it for two years. No problems. It has a short battery life but charges very quickly! Strong sound for a deaf person like me! It doesn't want to break. Sometimes the voice call doesn't work but okay, whatever! My wife changed 4 cheap ones, mine holds up easily!
6 years voyager, 6 new voyager.... very good bluetooth but unfortunately it doesn't last.... for me, the issue was always the battery.... the last few times, I even got it with the case and the magnetic one, but same problems... unfortunately, I switched to another company...
The truth is that it is a high-design and technology Bluetooth device, but its individual components are not at all durable, the elastic parts are easily cut, and it needs replacement every year. I have been using Plantronics for 4 years, so I don't easily find spare parts and I replace it
I had the explorer 55 which was very good and I still use it. I bought this one because I was satisfied with the other one and I believed it would be equally good. After 6 months of use, it started to frequently disconnect from the iPhone and have interruptions during calls. I wouldn't recommend it though, unlike the previous one which has been discontinued
For his money, I expected something better. Especially the sound intensity disappointed me, because no matter what, it doesn't apply perfectly so if it had a stronger sound, it would be much better. I wouldn't buy it again. A friend who has it is very satisfied. Good luck...
Update after 6 months of use. It constantly disconnects. And on a Samsung phone and on a Xiaomi phone, so the Bluetooth has an issue. The use that was made was not everyday.
Some serious problems, it is not worn with a mask and helmet, it pulls my ear forward, the buttons of the headset are in positions that are not easily pressed and if you find them, it turns brown when I talk to someone and I take it out of the ear it disconnects and then I have to go through the connection process, it probably has a sensor and when you take it out of the ear it disconnects so you can talk from the phone, I think this is very wrong. When someone calls you, the headset speaks to you and it becomes very annoying, sometimes you answer directly from the phone and the headset speaks and you can't hear the other person, but it has very good sound quality. Meanwhile, I also got the Explores 55 and it's perfect, it doesn't have anything negative, be careful the charger has an adapter that charges the headset, it is unique, if you lose it you won't find another one to buy.
I bought them 6 months ago, I use them all day every day. I was looking for a headset that would effectively reduce noise, allow me to hear well, and enable me to do my work without getting tired from all-day use on my ear. This particular headset is very good in all aspects except for one thing that bothers me, so I gave it 4 stars. The first thing is that it doesn't fit well in the ear no matter what ear cushion you use, which means that when you want to hear something, you have to lightly press it to make it work. Also, the low volume it produces. Other than that, it is a good and durable headset.
Unfortunately ..... it doesn't work with a helmet .... it keeps disconnecting .... the sound comes out frozen difficult to wear ....
It cannot be worn with glasses ... with a mask ... with a helmet ....!
It has strong sound .... fast connection constant disconnections.....!
I would never buy it again .... only the 55 was worth it .......!!!!
My first encounter with this particular model was good because it is beautiful despite being somewhat strange with its very long microphone that I was not used to seeing and I had never had such a headset before. I tried to put it in my ear but it didn't fit well, I don't know what was wrong but it didn't feel the same as the explorer 55. Eventually, I found out from the packaging that there are some covers for the headset, so I put one of them on and it improved things a bit. Where I got really annoyed was when I tried to pair it with two devices or I don't know, there seems to be a specific way to do it for it to work properly and honestly, it's a shame for the money I spent. I will call the company tomorrow from which I bought it to see if there is a way to connect the two devices and make them work well, otherwise I think it's the worst choice in recent years.
Well, as I mentioned earlier, I contacted the company and their response was that they need to check it and will inform me. Finally, the response was that the first call needs to be terminated and then I can answer the second one. Eventually, after a disagreement with the company regarding the headset, my opinion, of course, was that the multipoint feature is not what they described to me, but you can put the first call on hold and answer the second one. This, of course, happens with two other headsets that I have, such as the explorer 55 and the jabra talk 5, they did not accept it in any case. I don't know what I will do. I believe it's not worth so much money, really, if you have that much money, get something else
Purchase 15/10/2021. It connects easily, has a long battery life as positives.
As negatives: the connection is constantly lost, outside on the road, they either can't hear you or hear you with interruptions.
I have trusted the company for many years, but this is the worst purchase I have made. If you want my opinion, go for the cheaper models (explorer) that have proven to be "dogs".
Very good choice. In combination with the charging case, it is an excellent choice, especially for meetings via Teams, Viber, etc. The noise cancellation is impressive, no speeches or environmental noises can be heard at all. The only possible flaw is the comfort after prolonged use. Changing the earpiece is necessary...
Excellent sound, but for a maximum of 2 years of daily use. After that, the speaker does not hear well, so there may be a problem with the microphone.
Comfortable to wear and good connectivity.
Very good sound quality and amazing microphone, you sound crystal clear even if you are in an outdoor environment with noise or wind, the battery has not disappointed me as long as I have had it and of course, due to its shape, there is no chance of it falling off the ear, purely professional
It is a clean professional Bluetooth headset, purely for conversation in any situation and condition. It cuts out all noises, air, rain, car/truck window. As a result, you can have flawless conversations with your interlocutor. It is by no means a headphone for listening to music, especially with noise, you can hear few things, but it is not even sold as such a headphone.
Impeccable in terms of time, impeccable connection, maybe someone needs to experiment with the sensors which ones to leave active and which ones not (with the plantronics application) you have the tool you need.
I consider that after almost 4 years, it is the most reliable for anyone who wants to use it professionally. Purely for calls/voice use. One was replaced by the company, I washed it afterwards and got a second one. Very good noise cancellation and even after testing it with the 5200, I can say that if you already have a legend, the transition to the 5200 - taking into account the significant price difference - is excessive or even unnecessary. I note that my service changed the first one where it opened the rubber at the top/nerve of the ear. Possibly some pieces had a defect. The contact charging requires delicate handling because in the long run it creates gaps and you wait for it to charge unnecessarily. The battery shows a slight 'drain' from heavy use after 1 year, but it is not annoying and I wouldn't bother if it had USB charging.
There are no voice commands (answer or ignore), they have saved me from accidents and make your passengers 'startle' or even comment on the pronunciation. The size, weight, and construction are not so bothersome. I will give you a tip: when you get it, put the small ear gel because the large one is annoying and creates discomfort. Buy it without hesitation. If you see that it doesn't hear you or you don't hear well or it doesn't connect immediately or it disconnects, first check the device. Everything is fine with minimal disconnections on the S7 Edge, also fine on the Redmi 5 Plus. Rare disconnections on the Samsung M20 and everything is excellent on the Poco X3 Pro.
Owner of this product for 2 years, using it exclusively for professional purposes. I had it in the office, speaking on it daily for 6-8 hours. The sound is very good and my callers never complained (on the contrary, they told me how clearly they could hear me). The noise cancellation is excellent as I tested it in an outdoor environment. The battery lasted the first year but its performance declined in the second year (which is expected). The connectivity with iPhone 6s was flawless. After the first year, I started experiencing issues with the sensors (probably a problem with the handsfree) and disconnections during calls (could be an issue with the iPhone). It stopped working after about 2 years when the internal rubber started to tear at the bending point.
In conclusion, I believe that for the current price of 50 euros, it is worth the money with its battery life and call quality at excellent levels. I might consider buying it again, but I am also considering the more expensive options like the 5200 or 3200.
Excellent product for professional call center use!! 3 pieces have been purchased and are used daily by 2 call center devices (Fanvil) and one Gigaset sl450 wireless device.
After 3 months of use, I have nothing negative to note... Excellent two-way communication where the person you're speaking to can hear you clearly. Comfortable to use, the girls in the office wear it almost continuously throughout their shift! Needless to say, the battery easily lasts the whole day.
Unacceptable.
I had read good comments but in the end they have nothing to do with reality.
I am a salesman, which means I am constantly on the road and constantly using Bluetooth.
Indoors things are somewhat better, at least for you and not for your interlocutor. On the road, things change as low volume creates extra problems.
Compared to other Bluetooth devices, I would not say it lacks anything except for the price, as you can find this sound quality in much cheaper devices.
One thing it does perfectly is that it does not disconnect unless you move more than 8 meters away.
I have used it with XIAOMI and SAMSUNG
Owner of this for a year now. Purely professional use, up to 5 hours per day. It is perhaps the best in sound clarity for both the user and the interlocutor. The device becomes tiring if worn for more than one hour continuously, and it feels like a small hit on the nerve of the ear right at the on/off point. No issues when connected to Samsung s7 edge. No disconnections or anything similar. As soon as it was connected to Xiaomi Redmi 5 plus, I experienced disconnections and difficulty in pairing.
Two days ago, I noticed that the rubber covering it, exactly where it touches the top part of the ear, has "opened" and I am very afraid that moisture will get in.... The company does not intend to repair it, even though I clarified that I am not asking for it to be done under warranty, but at my own expense. I will proceed with a patent in order to save it.
I have had this specific hands-free device for over two years now (it is already out of warranty).
At the beginning, the device was working perfectly, doing everything it promised. A little while before the warranty expired, it started having problems with the sensors. It couldn't tell when you were wearing it or not, resulting in me answering calls from the phone and it automatically connecting even when it was left on the desk. After resetting the sensors, it would work for a short while, but the problem would soon return.
Now the situation has worsened to the maximum. While wearing it and already being in a conversation, the headset disconnects and the call is transferred to the phone. After 1 to 2 seconds, it reconnects to the headset and then quickly disconnects again. Many times, it has forced me to turn it off and continue the call from the phone due to this malfunction.
I would like to note here that the reason I am writing this review is because, being satisfied/excited during the initial period of use, I encouraged my brother to buy it as well, which he did. The result is that we are now facing the same problems and have the same disappointment with the product.
I would no longer recommend it to anyone, especially considering its relatively high price (I bought it for 70€).
A very good headset, without any problems. The sound is still very good even while cycling. It is a bit bulky and becomes tiring after a while, and it also has relatively low battery life. I bought it for about 55€. For this price, it satisfied me enough. I consider it a very decent choice.
I constantly had communication problems and complaints from my interlocutors. Finally, flawless communication. Although it is a bit bulky, I forget that I am wearing it. Very fast connection to the device (on/off).
Very good sound, with the well-known quality of plantronics (I also had the voyager 510 and pro hd). Good autonomy, the voice commands are convenient and work well, the fact that it accepts commands (e.g. answer) while driving and generally having busy hands, helps. The big disadvantage (hence the 4 stars) is the fact that it does not charge with a universal micro USB charger, but has its own "mechanism" for charging (something that did not apply to the pro) as well as the fact that it is not practically better than the pro.
Ok....plantronics...good.....however.....the earpiece doesn't stay in place....and it doesn't provide good sound isolation.....huge failure in this area because the sound is not strong....so for a machine....useless....
The best Bluetooth I have bought... Unfortunately, this doesn't mean it is better than wired headphones or the phone's speaker, it just surpasses the awful quality of most Bluetooth devices (regardless of price).
Positives +
1. Good battery life
2. Relatively good sound quality
3. Semi-waterproof feature.
Negatives -
1. Sound quality varies depending on the device
2. Volume could be louder (on both sides)
3. Relatively high price, non-discreet design (although it is functional).
The most unacceptable headset in Plantronics history!
Until now, I only bought Plantronics headsets, but the Legend is the biggest failure I have bought so far. The sound is very digital and distorted.
