  A decent entry-level mattress for the prevention of bedsores and the avoidance of wounds that occur in bedridden individuals throughout the day, who suffer from mild forms of bedsores with minimal wounds. The cells are quite comfortable and the air adjustment machine works quite well, providing equal inflation and deflation of air (although it takes some time for the mattress to fully inflate initially, and then the adjustment of air flow from the softest to the "firmer" setting depending on the situation and the patient's comfort, by adjusting the air supply switch on the machine). It seems quite durable and does its job (for bedridden patients with zero to mild bedsores, and for individuals who spend most of their time in bed and cannot turn without assistance. For more severe bedsores, it is necessary to consult your treating physician). The only negatives I found are that it is somewhat narrow and small in width (intended for a single and not a double bed width) and the pump takes a while to fully inflate it (be careful to properly and securely place both tubes in the mattress air supply). The pump also makes some noise during inflation and especially during deflation, but it is not particularly annoying and lasts for a short time (the more intense deflation noise lasts a few seconds at regular intervals, especially if you have the switch at maximum). The price is also considered a positive aspect, as a similar mattress in a local medical supply store costs at least twice as much, which would be excessive for this particular mattress!!! The instructions for use are very simple and it is easy to install, just make sure to place the non-inflating parts well under the mattress so that it does not move when the patient tries to reposition, and fully inflate it before use so that all the cells are filled, and then adjust it with the switch accordingly. It is also important to keep it constantly plugged in so that the air flow is not interrupted and it functions properly. I recommend it for mild bedsores (such use is possible), but it would be wise to consult your doctor (orthopedic surgeon or neurologist or the patient's treating physician) before making any purchase of such a mattress to ensure that it is suitable for your specific case.
