It does exactly what it is designed to do without any glitches. Something that of course is not mentioned anywhere is that it does not work from a USB port that is not integrated into the motherboard, so USB extensions, hubs, and ports on the computer case are out of the question.

It did its job. I got it to connect some unacceptable baofeng BF777s that aren't even on the official site. I managed to set them up properly, to the best of my ability.

Download CHIRP for free. Just connect and you're good to go. It does the job as it should, it's a good purchase.

The CD is not helpful, it is better to download the programming file (in zip format, depending on the model) from the Baofeng website. Without being sure if it's the cable's fault, the Baofeng program for the BF-888s was not communicating with the device. Alternatively, I used CHIRP, which was programmed without any issues using the same cable.

The disc doesn't work. I downloaded drivers and it doesn't recognize it. The computer doesn't recognize the cable. What's happening? I think the purchase was in vain.

The cable works great, we threw away the CD because it's useless, and we downloaded the program from the Baofeng website (https://www.baofengradio.com/pages/download) and we're good to go. I used it with the BF 480 program on the PMR BF-M7.

For Baofeng without a screen, it is necessary, but even for models with a screen, it makes the configuration process even easier.

I got tired of making a change for another type of wireless, I asked or simply it doesn't have the means for mine in general it is not at all understandable and the wireless went in vain.. For those who don't know, it's not just a simple USB cable, but it has a built-in small board for proper wireless programming, so this particular cable is complete (there are also fake ones on the market without the board and they are simply useless). Now, as for the program on the CD, I didn't even try to install it because the company has discontinued it and it doesn't work anymore. You can download the new program that supports multiple wireless devices for free from the manufacturer's official website.

The cable does its job BUT it requires searching on the internet for drivers and software for wireless use since the provided CD is useless. Firstly, because it doesn't have any helpful content and secondly, because most new computers don't have a CD drive. If the installation is done correctly and it doesn't work with wireless, try adjusting the settings in the wireless menu a bit.

With the CD that comes in the package, it is not possible to work. It requires searching on the internet for drivers and software.

Necessary accessory for programming, for example, BF 888s or other cheap wireless transceivers, as there is no other way to adjust them to different frequencies. They can be easily programmed by following tutorials from YouTube, by anyone, even beginners.
