I am writing this review solely to prevent anyone from buying them, they are truly unacceptable headphones.
The previous hands-free devices I had were the "Edifier BT NB2 In-ear Bluetooth Handsfree" (I recommend them) and the "Baseus WM01 In-ear Bluetooth Handsfree" (which are more decent than these JBL ones).
The sound is good, but it was disappointing for this price, it is slightly better than the baseus, and much worse than the edifier, while the bass is indifferent.
The active noise cancellation is a joke, everyone complains about it in closed spaces, so I end up turning off the Bluetooth and holding my phone in my hand.
The build quality is also a joke, I have had the headphones for 4 months, I take care of them, they haven't fallen, yet the case creaks, and the headphones' quality is evident in the photo.
Another problem I face is that when the case's battery dies, the headphones die as well. For example, if the headphones have 90% battery and the case has 2%, you know that in 15 minutes you won't have any headphones.
These headphones fooled me. I don't know where other users find the beauty in them, but I paid €110 and they should cost €40-50
After a few months of use, I have to say that I have been more inconvenienced than enjoyed by them. Initially, it is very easy for them to fall out of your ear while walking or even while driving. If you are walking on the street, besides the fact that they might fall out, it is impossible to have a clear conversation if there is even the slightest breeze. There are countless disconnections, I am never sure how much battery they have, and of course, you always have to carry the case with you because if they disconnect without the case, they won't reconnect again. I have ended up only listening to music at home with them or having conversations in the car with completely closed windows. These specific JBLs are a shining example of how so much technology can go in the wrong direction. They have technology, sensors, etc., but they are all there to inconvenience you. For the initial price they were at €180, it is a crime to buy them, but I think even €50 is still too much if they ultimately don't do their job!
I have had the headphones for a month now and so far I am very satisfied with their sound, battery, and especially their durability (it fell from my ear onto a tiled floor with some water and didn't suffer any damage at all). However, you need to be careful with the fit in your ears because it is very difficult to find the right combination of ear tips. Generally, I have never had a problem with large headphones of medium or large size, but these ones are quite difficult to put on correctly so that they don't fall out, and after a while they cause fatigue in the ear. It's not a big deal or a reason not to get them, but if you generally have small ears, you might be better off with a different pair. Do not get them under any circumstances for noise cancellation, because it's simply like it doesn't exist.
All good.
They hear me as if I am next to them.
I hear them loudly.
One negative. The charging case. It creaks as if it's going to break...
The only negative is that it doesn't have much bass, something I expected from a JBL and so far I haven't been able to adjust it - otherwise, it's very good...
The charger in the photo is not included in the package.
Predecessor of the JBL reflect flow.
Positives:
+ Very good quality clean sound.
+ 7 hours of operation/headphone.
+ Bluetooth 5.1.
+ 21 hours with the case.
+ Full control from the JBL headphones app.
+ Manual button adjustment.
+ Can function either on the right or left alone.
+ Wireless charging capability or via type C.
+ Ready and manual equalization.
+ Function either for optimal sound quality or gaming for minimal response time.
+ Lightweight.
Negatives:
- Indifferent ANC (I don't notice a difference whether it's on or off).
- Less bass (compared to the JBL reflect flow).
For me, it's not value for money, but for those who seek something more in terms of quality and comfort, I highly recommend them
I have them for a while, if something comes up I will return.
Perfect sound, very loud, incredible bass. Additionally, you can adjust the levels and change the bass values, etc.
The interlocutor hears me and I hear him perfectly. Very good noise cancellation.
It charges quickly and actually lasts for 7+ hours.
I open the case and they automatically connect to my phone (Xiaomi Redmi Note 10).
Absolutely satisfied with the choice.
They are definitely worth their money and I highly recommend them.
EDIT: After a year (or maybe less since I didn't use them daily because I was careful with them), I had to return them as the left one simply stopped working. The same thing happened to me with all the headphones from the company that I have purchased (before these, I had bought the JBL Tune 215BT Earbud Bluetooth twice). It may have been just a coincidence, or maybe not. This time, I decided to go for the Soundcore by Anker Life Q30 Hybrid.
