This liquid may indeed contain aloe vera, but you can't really tell what it truly is. It is a slightly bitter-sour water that reminds me more of "Sour Water" without carbonation, rather than something that actually contains aloe juice. And because I have relatives who have plants and have given me bottles of natural aloe juice several times, I can confidently say that this "thing" doesn't resemble at all what we all know and are accustomed to as aloe juice. Simply disgusting! (But I can't ask them to provide me with it all the time.)
