I have had it for about 4 months and I use it to connect my PS4 PRO, XBOX ONE, and some retro consoles to the TV.
The picture has always been very good. However, from the beginning, it would occasionally switch HDMI IN on its own, even if only one device was active (!), resulting in the loss of picture while playing. Also, many times, without any device being turned on, the TV would display the message "HDMI is active".
After a lot of searching, I discovered that the button on top, which allows you to manually change the input, is to blame. This button is soft and does not have a clear click (perhaps I ended up with a defective device), and it gets pressed on its own. I opened it up and completely removed it, so now the HDMI switch has been working perfectly for a while. However, I'm not sure if I would recommend it
On the switch, I have a PS4 Pro, XBOX 360, and a third monitor for my computer with an RTX 2070. I haven't noticed any loss in quality on any of the three, actually, for anyone who is not picky and just wants an HDMI switch, it's great.
Also, I noticed that if, for example, I had option 1 selected for the computer monitor or the third monitor, it would automatically extend without any action from me. Now, when I turned on the PS4 and pressed 2, which is for the PS4, it would automatically turn off the PC monitor and it wouldn't even detect it! Also, if I was just watching TV and turned on the XBOX 360, the switch would automatically change to the port that the third monitor was connected to and display that signal. Similarly, even if I turned off the XBOX and turned on the PS4 afterwards, after the XBOX had been turned off, it would automatically switch and go to the HDMI that had a signal. Basically, I haven't used the controller that came with it more than 2 times so far. It does exactly what I wanted and a little more
I was looking to find a switch to connect my PS5, XBOX series X, and TV Box to my Samsung 4K@60hz without losing image quality. My TV had 2 HDMI ports (one 2.0 and one ARC), but I use the ARC for my sound system, so we only have 1 port left. I connected the switch and it saved me. All the devices work at the best quality my TV can provide, and I can switch between them using the controller from the switch. If you set it up correctly, you can turn on the TV, sound system, and PS5 as soon as you activate the console's controller. It's worth the money and it has been working perfectly for 8 months.
Note: It cannot output the 120Hz capability of the new consoles.
Pros:
Sturdy construction
Tested and certified 4K@60Hz quality, unlike all the others (even more expensive models that claim to output 4K@30Hz and hide it in small letters)
Easy connectivity
Has a remote control in addition to the switch button
Does not introduce "noise" to the sound system
Cons:
The package only includes the device and the remote control. You need to have HDMI cables.
The controller feels very cheap (like the classic Chinese circuit board ones)
Because I had placed it on top of the soundbar, I noticed that when playing loud music, it would change the input channel on its own (the input switch button is very sensitive)
