iPhone 12. Ultra-fast 5G network and powerful A14 Bionic chip. Advanced dual-camera system. And a stunning Super Retina XDR display, so you can see everything in vivid detail.
Super Retina XDR display
It features an OLED display, offering brighter images, darker blacks, and higher resolution. Unlike common LCDs that illuminate all pixels simultaneously, the pixels in OLED screens can turn off completely to provide true blacks.
Ceramic Shield
The screen and back are protected by nano-ceramic crystals that ensure the iPhone 12 is four times more resistant to drops and protect the screen, while also being protected from scratches and wear from daily use.
Superfast Wireless with 5G
Now you can download huge files on the go or stream high-quality HDR movies without lag using 5G technology. The iPhone has more 5G bands than any other smartphone, so you get 5G in more places. And all that speed opens up amazing possibilities for the future of apps. Plus, when your iPhone doesn't need 5G speeds, it automatically uses LTE to save battery life.
Dual Rear Camera
With a wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle lens, featuring night mode, you can take photos with great detail and color in any lighting condition.
Smart HDR 3
Smart HDR 3
With the help of Smart HDR 3, you can discern details in every shot, even the trees on a bright day. At the same time, color and white balance are adjusted in every shot, making your photos true to life.
Portrait Mode
Portrait mode
Choosing from 6 creative effects, take the photo you want to highlight your subject.
Professional Video

Positives:
Stability in the software, nice shortcuts, and very nice photos and videos. The videos are very good in terms of sound, which interests me as a musician, and I didn't need to connect an external microphone for any live broadcast.
Excellent screen in my opinion.
Everything just works and it never froze, except when it reached 5% battery.
Also, a reasonable screen size. Dude, how have the years passed and only Apple has ended up still selling phones and not 32-inch TVs with SIM? There’s a reason for phones and a reason for tablets. If I wanted a tablet, I would buy a tablet, so, WELL DONE Apple!
Guarantee that it won't betray you for any reason except...
Negatives:
Dude, what's up with the battery?
I don't care about fast charging and I have the time to wait for it to charge for an hour, BUT, it’s not possible for the battery health to drop to 77% in 2 years and it’s not possible to go from 100% to 20% with pure use of 3 hours (in the best-case scenario) and completely disabled 5G.
Especially if I set it to do a live broadcast on Instagram, we're talking about a tragedy (1.5 hours now, in the beginning 2.5 hours).
None of my previous devices, except for a lousy Alcatel from 2016, had such battery issues. Even the iPhone 5 I had in 2016-17 lasted the day.
In the average, but reasonable disadvantages I expected: restrictive in certain things like emulation. It’s gradually getting a bit better, but I miss countless (Re)Vanced and the guarantee of Android that I will find a gba emulator every month of the year or at least be able to install it with an apk.
All of this now leaves me with three options:
The first, to spend €100 for a battery, which wouldn’t bother me and I consider a reasonable price, except that you won’t have a phone for 3-7 days as they told me from the official service. (There has been some progress and now they can also replace the battery at unofficial services, but they have to buy the part from Apple itself, with the same waiting time.)
The second, to sell it to get the 13/14 pro max in hopes of getting an Apple phone with decent battery, since the regular and Pro models 12, 13, and 14 have exactly the same battery issues, and
The third, to settle for the slightly lower camera and potential instability of a €300-350 Android phone but knowing that I will have a phone that I won’t be looking for a charger in half a day from the first year.
The third is the most likely, since new pro max models start at €999 and used ones at €500, but they will want a battery change in a year with all the hustle that my beloved Apple requires.
I have had it for 8 months as far as I remember. The phone is very fast and the camera is quite satisfactory; the only thing that bothers me a lot is the battery. As soon as it dropped from 100 in 4 months to 99, then in 2 months it dropped to 92% with little use.
It truly deserves the 5 stars. I am satisfied from all aspects. I got it in 2021 and until today it is very good and still fast. The camera is perfect and has good resolution. I believe that even today it is worth the money.
It is fast, has good screen and build quality, and has a good processor. However, there are also negatives.
First of all, the battery is not the best... Of course, mine is at 85% health. The charging is bad. Only with 20W? Come on. It charges in at least 1.5 hours. Lastly, and most importantly, it overheats. Excessively. I play a game, and after 20 minutes it starts to burn. And it doesn't burn more in the back or on the edges, it burns on the screen, making it difficult to touch the screen. Despite all this, I have to say, as a first-time iPhone user, I am quite satisfied. However, for €600 in 2024, it's not worth it. Get a refurbished one for €330 with 128GB.
I had the phone for a year and in my opinion, it was mediocre. Not for this price though, it is a lightweight and quality phone. Its biggest drawback is that it has a weak signal, I couldn't get any signal or data on calls, and when I needed the GPS, it would take me elsewhere and not show me what I wanted. It is also good for games. The battery did not satisfy me. For this price, I would say go elsewhere or get another model from iPhone.
It fell into my hands completely by chance in May, as a used one.
First time with an iPhone and I can say that the transition was worth it in my opinion.
No comparison to the Android devices I had.
Fast without any "significant" crashes, decent battery life (1 day with regular use), very good camera quality, but I would say its strong point is the video it produces.
Overall, it is recommended as a used device for someone who wants to get a "taste" of this software.
If you want to get it brand new, only do so if you find it at a good price, otherwise, prefer the 13 or the 14, as their prices are quite close (with minimal differences, though).
Soon we will see the 15 in stores, which I believe will not have any major differences from its predecessors.
In any case, the 12 will not disappoint you.
I hope I helped.
The period of time that I have been using it is short, but I am really satisfied. I come from android (mainly Samsung) and the difference is immediately noticeable, in terms of all the features I mentioned. I would maybe mention the battery, which seems to need more frequent charging.
Very satisfied with the use of it for 2 years now!! It was a good upgrade from the Xr. The battery is fine, the only reason it has "failed" is clearly the use I make of the phone and sometimes, I don't pay attention to it so much! I recommend it.
Owner of a blue 128gb, I was considering upgrading to the 14 pro but it's not worth it. The 12 is fantastic in every way, with the best design Apple has produced since the 6s.
After a year, let me also give my opinion. First time iOS user and I can say there's no way I'm going back to Android!!! I used to always buy whatever flagship Samsung released, NEVER AGAIN!!! It's seamless, lightning fast, connects to everything without any issues and as far as battery life goes, it covers me perfectly with moderate use! I've enjoyed it 100%.
Firstly, I have had the iPhone 6s, XS max, 12 pro, and 12 pro max. My 12 pro max screen broke, so I got the iPhone 12 because I didn't think it was worth spending so much money on a phone that could easily be lost or damaged. So, I decided to go with the regular 12. I must say, the size is IDEAL for me because, in the end, it's just a mobile phone, and if I want to watch movies, I have other devices. It fits in my pocket without sticking out, it's convenient, and you can take selfies without struggling to hold it with one hand. Now, the battery is the same as the 12 pro, so I didn't have any issues as some people have reported. In the end, we all charge our phones every night, no matter what percentage of battery we have. The photos are exactly the same as the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 pro max, the only difference is that it doesn't have the zoom, which has lower performance in portrait mode. But, to be honest, I don't even use portrait mode or the zoom (it does have zoom, but it's not like in the pro models). Finally, the build quality is great, and it's lightweight, which I appreciate a lot. I was thinking of going back to the pro at some point, but in the end, it's not even worth it! I'll stick with this one because it's infinitely convenient and does everything the pro does for a common user, especially. Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to share my experience.
What can one say first... It's a very good mobile phone.
It doesn't lag at all, it runs like a bullet.
The size is satisfactory, quite convenient in the hand, it's not too big that you can't use it with one hand, but it's not too small either, for me it's a satisfactory size.
As for the battery, what I have to say is that even though I bought it second-hand and its health has dropped to 87%, with normal use it lasted almost a day.
The photos are incredible, as well as the video...
The speaker is very loud, if you have it at full volume you think you have a small portable speaker and the sound is incredibly clear, the same goes for calls, you can hear them crystal clear and they can hear you the same.
The only negative is that it doesn't take a memory card and generally most things are paid for... Personally, I knew what company I was getting into, so it didn't bother me.
For so many years I always had android, this is the first iPhone I've ever had and I can confidently say that I don't regret it and I don't plan on going back to android!
I have had it for 2 weeks now and previously I had the iPhone 11 Pro, while my sister has the iPhone 13, so I have used and tested all 3 and can judge them. In everyday use, there are minimal differences. The difference in the camera between the 11 Pro and the 12 is noticeable, and the 13 is slightly better than the 12. Also, the battery life of the 11 Pro and the 12 is almost the same. With 87% battery health and regular use, it needs to be charged in the afternoon towards the evening, but now with 100% battery health, it should last a day. The price difference with the 13 is significant for slightly better battery life and a slightly better camera. Whoever has the money can get it, but I think the 12 is more than enough and worth its money. Update: I am also including some nice photos taken in low light and good conditions, as well as a comparison between my old 11 Pro and the 12 (the 11 Pro is the one with slightly warmer colors).
The mobile phone is very good, it's fast. The only disadvantage for me is that it's small and the battery doesn't last long. As a user of many iPhones, I have to say that it's the best one I've ever had. Now I'm considering whether to get the 14 or the Pro Max, we'll see. That's all from me.
I loved it. I really wonder why, after being an iPhone owner in the past, I switched to another company. It's a waste of money to get anything other than Apple.
The phone is a machine like no other. Photos, videos, games, music, GPS, anything else you want, you have it with great ease. The battery lasts a whole day, easily.
I haven't let go of it since the day I got it and I have enjoyed it. Apple is back in the business.
The mobile phone is what most people would expect at this price, with the guarantee and experience of Apple. Initially, the first impression when opening the box will definitely be positive, as the build quality is excellent, the "sandwich" of glass on the front and back, as well as the aluminum frame on the sides, gives an exceptional feeling in the hand. Additionally, the green color that I purchased definitely does not go unnoticed. The photos are very good and the wide-angle lens is quite useful, in addition, the video is excellent, especially in 4K. The A14 Bionic is a capable "worker" who can carry out even the most demanding tasks that it will be asked to perform. What I was afraid of when buying was the battery, which pleasantly surprised me, easily lasting a day of moderate use and can with a little difficulty withstand a day of heavy use (of course, I am referring to a battery health of 100%). Furthermore, the best feature of the 12 in my opinion is the Super Retina XDR OLED screen, which even in 2022 can compete with today's mobiles at these prices. Finally, the stereo speaker is average with good bass but not very loud. It is noteworthy to mention that I was quite troubled by the closed ecosystem of Apple, for example, I had difficulty transferring my data from my old Android phone and also the Xiaomi Bluetooth headphones that I had at my disposal did not work most of the time.
I never received the white one even though I ordered it as it was available. The supplier couldn't find white. That was the only downside of the purchase.
Very honest. Thanks to Apple for changing the cable so you have to buy an adapter, but otherwise much better than any Android I've ever held in my hands.
Very good for the use we make of it. I received it as a gift and it has endured many falls from small children and with the simplest silicone case it hasn't suffered any damage.
Apple has an excellent phone, with proof that they are years ahead in terms of construction. However, there is a big issue with the battery. You can't spend 800 euros on a phone and have the battery not last at least a day with frequent use. It's unacceptable. I will only give it 3 stars because of the battery.
From XS to this, the difference is mainly noticeable in the fact that it has a screen that supports HDR Dolby Vision, takes very good photos especially in colors and brightness, and the videos are top-notch both in wide and ultra-wide. The 128 capacity is great if you want enough storage and the battery is fine with a little caution in usage. The sound is clear with or without 5G and the size is okay, going from 5.8 to 6.1 with a flat design that gives it a different feel. Overall, it's a great phone for those who don't change frequently and the selfie camera is also very good with night mode on all cameras.
Initially, I chose it by looking at its storage capacity and RAM. Indeed, 128GB of space is more than enough for me, but the speed is no longer satisfactory for 6GB of RAM. Initially, it was quite fast, but after 5 months it started to lag quite a bit. When I exit a page to the home screen, it often takes a while to load. When I want to quickly take a photo, the camera freezes, causing me to miss the moment. However, I must say that the camera is exceptional and worth the money. With the night mode function, you can take amazing photos in low light. The AMOLED screen disappointed me as you can see the pixels in black. The battery life is excessive for a user who doesn't use their phone much. It charges quickly and can last for a long time with only 20% battery. I had a phone that cost €200 for 4 years without any lag, but now I think I'll have to change my phone soon.
The mobile phone is worth its money, it is very good and does not lag at all. Only the battery is a bit weak, but it lasts for more than 6 hours of continuous use and if you don't charge it up to 100% all the time, it will keep your mobile phone in good condition for a long time.
First-time iPhone owner here and I have to say I am extremely satisfied. It's like a piece of jewelry in my hands.
Lightweight, beautiful, great sound, wireless charging, fast updates on apps that fix any glitches, and beautiful photos. Face ID with mask usage is very clever and has saved me many times when I'm in a rush and don't want to enter my passcode. It unlocks instantly!
On the negative side, the battery drains relatively quickly. However, I was informed about iPhone batteries before purchasing, so I wasn't disappointed. I believe buying a good power bank solves the problem.
The screen brightness could be a bit stronger, but it's not a big issue.
Another big issue is that the charger is no longer included, which is a bit inconvenient, but other companies are following this path, so...
Apple's support is also very good as I had to contact them and they helped me immediately.
In summary, it's a very expensive phone, but I believe it will pay for itself as it will receive updates for at least 4 years.
IPhone 12 128gb 730€
Very good screen colors, excellent camera. Battery with normal use (excluding GPS that drains it) easily lasts until the evening, to the point that every night when I charge it, it still has 40% left. Face ID is also very fast and convenient, something I didn't expect (it's like not having a passcode lock).
I also bought it through Skroutz (I added a charger and screen protectors to the order, it was worth it).
I have always been a fan of iPhones, but damn this is the next level. Obviously, there are some things that bother me, such as Face ID not being ideal with masks now.
Positives: Fast, nice size and screen, very good sound, good battery life.
Negatives: There is no freedom to store your music for free, to choose the font you like for free and other similar things that are much easier to do on android.
In conclusion, the prestige is good but expensive for what it offers.
