I bought it in 2021 for 180 euros. Now, after 3.5+ years of use, I will say that it was the first smartphone that, after 1-1.5 years, did not give me any problems. For the first time, I felt that it was worth the money. That's why, at this moment in October 2024, it is being sold at the same price refurbished, 4 years after its release.
The processor is excellent, zero lag until the 3-year mark. We won't talk about the cameras and such; it's very high quality for its price. If you want a phone for photos, just get an iPhone and be done with it. I have a small complaint about the battery life, but I didn't treat it in the best way. My fault.
I'm writing this review because, as I see it, in 4 years I will set it aside. After many drops, the side buttons are not working well. The memory, no matter how much I delete video and photo files, cannot hold the applications I want and the usage I do, and it asks for more space. I really sat down to write this review, which is very rare, as an "epitaph" and a tribute to the first phone that stood by me in good times and bad. :D

My favorite mobile phone ever. I have thought about changing it 50 times in the past year, but then I think that in order to get something significantly better, I have to spend 300 euros now and really, after so much usage for 3 years, it still does everything and hasn't declined in performance at all, only the battery. Its screen is very good and although I was used to AMOLED (Xiaomi Mi 9T), I was not bothered at all by the transition. Its brightness did not bother me so far, even in the sun.
The speaker of the "regular" Realme 7 sounds clearer and louder than that of the Realme 7 5G.
Good performance, I noticed a small lag once while in use and had to turn off and on the screen to fix it, but it has not happened again.
Photos/videos are satisfactory, although both (7 & 7 5G) are inferior to the Xiaomi Mi 9T I had before.
Very good signal and sound quality during calls.
It has already received Android 11 and also received the latest updates of August 2021. Current software version is RMX2155_11_C.10

Simple, clean, and functional UI, coming from MIUI, I loved it. Just a few settings to customize it to my liking and that's it. I realized how overloaded MIUI is.
The g95 is powerful, more power-hungry than a comparable Snapdragon, of course. Regardless, the battery lasts 1-1.5 days with heavy usage and charges fairly quickly.
It's a bit heavy in the hand, but manageable.

It unlocks very quickly with the hand, and face recognition as well, although I no longer use it.
The battery lasts for more than 24 hours with serious usage. I use it a lot for GPS, calls, work applications, and 1 hour of gaming per day, but nothing demanding. It is reliable.
Tested in games, it seems good, but I generally don't play. Even simple games consume battery.
The camera is fine overall, although I'm not interested. It has performed well in sunset, against the sun, and at night.
Certainly, it doesn't do everything a Samsung does with double the price.
The speaker is loud but has average quality.
Of course, when compared to the Xiaomi 9T, which has dual speakers, the Realme 7 ultimately has a stronger one, and the difference in quality was not clear, so everything is good.
I just often accidentally cover the speaker at the bottom with my finger.
On the downside, I would mention the lack of a radio.

Very fast, it has not frozen even once (with several loaded applications). The case that comes in the package is one of the thinnest I have seen and is very user-friendly, despite the size of the mobile it is one of the most convenient and practical in hand that I have held in the same size. Photos are quite to very good as well as the video (in previous versions I had read that they were not very good but this was probably fixed with the upgrades. The sound is stereo and very satisfactory. One of the positives is that it has 2 slots for sim + one for an sd micro card. Overall, the UI is simple without frills and various silly things. I am simply very satisfied, the purchase price was €238. I would tell you to buy it with your eyes closed. The Realme 8 pro is inferior compared to a friend who bought it, the only plus is the 5G and the negative is only two slots, one for sim and one universally or for sim or for sd. 27/7/2021 all good, on 21/7/2021 there was an upgrade to UI 2.0 android 11. 6/2/2022 everything I have written above is true and more, I have no problems, it has never frozen on me until now. Excellent phone... Within March 2022, there will be an upgrade to UI 3.0 android 12.

Generally, I am not a demanding user, mainly using it for social media, browsing, music, and videos, but I will understand where a phone will struggle and if it works properly. I hardly play games. Keep this in mind so you have an idea of how much I have used the phone.
In the positives:
- It is very fast, it doesn't lag anywhere, which is expected in this category. The features exceed expectations, and the average user will need a considerable amount of time to encounter any problems in this area. I have even tested it with Fortnite, and it performs satisfactorily.
- The screen, although not AMOLED, has decent colors, except for black, which is expected. I have no issues with brightness or clarity. The 90Hz refresh rate gives a sense of speed to the phone, although it consumes a lot of battery. With the standard 60Hz, there are no problems, but the 90Hz has a different allure.
- In terms of charging and battery life, there are no words. A 30W charger is included in the box for a phone priced around €170, and it charges the phone in about 40 minutes from 25%. The battery easily lasts a full day with heavy usage and open data, and it can even last a second day, but I usually charge it at around 30% to avoid searching for chargers outside.
- The fingerprint sensor is so accurate and lightning-fast that you will be playing with it from the first day you get it. Its position is incredibly convenient, making it one of the best on the market.
- The construction is beautiful with its blue color, and despite being plastic, it feels very high-quality. Just so you know, it's not as blue as it appears in the photo; it leans more towards gray, especially with the case.
- The speaker is quite loud and clear, as much as possible. It's not an amazing speaker, but it will serve you well, even for movies.
- In terms of the camera, I'm not someone who obsesses over photos, but from what I have tested in different lighting conditions, both close-up and far away, the camera is very reliable, especially with its excellent night mode.Now, onto the negatives, which I must admit are quite strict, but I didn't want to include only positives:
- It is a bit bulky due to the battery, but personally, it doesn't bother me at all. Just in case you were wondering.
- For some reason, it doesn't allow you to use another launcher. Let me explain: I installed Nova Launcher, and while it was very fast without any issues, when I pressed the home button, it took a bit of time to load the icons, which infuriated me. As a result, I switched to the default launcher, which is perfectly fine, and I got used to it within half a day.
- In the task manager, if you close all the apps, the app you were using will remain open, and maybe a few more. It's annoying, but it can be solved with an extra click, so what can I say?
- The selfie camera automatically gets blocked in many games, specifically in 8 Ball Pool. It can be annoying because you might miss your shot if you accidentally touch it with your thumb. If you don't play 8 Ball Pool, ignore this.
- Sometimes, the fact that the fingerprint sensor is on the power button can be bothersome. While it is generally very convenient, if you only want to wake up the screen (e.g., to check the time or notifications), you have to use another finger because it is so accurate that it will unlock with the thumb you used to set it up.
- The zoom on the camera is mediocre at best, with a lot of noise, especially in low light. Of course, it automatically "fixes" the photo to reduce noise, but it ends up looking blurry. I wouldn't recommend it.In general, as you can understand, the phone is an excellent choice, especially if you can find it for around €160 like I did. I have no serious complaints, and I highly recommend it during this period

The cameras are very high quality, although I don't care about them because I have a camera for that purpose, the speaker is decent and the screen resolution and brightness are very good. The phone is a super value for money, I highly recommend it. Now, if someone wants something more, they can spend an extra 60 euros to get the pro version (AMOLED screen, 8GB RAM, 128GB ROM, and larger camera sensors), which I find excessive for what I need, but everyone has different criteria. I was pleasantly surprised by OPPO - REALME for a phone that costs 165 euros, and finally, let companies like Samsung, Huawei, etc. be an example, who sell phones for double the price and only rely on their brand. And one more thing, it has everything from Google Services and is not loaded with useless applications, it only has the absolutely necessary ones installed. Choose it, you won't be disappointed!!
