Unfortunately, it is LTE and not 4G, automatically reducing the speed by 30% compared to 4G. That's why there are significant differences compared to a mobile phone that operates on 4G or 4G+
With the cable, I had 100Mbps/45Mbps on both Cosmote and Vodafone that I tested. If you don't have good speed, try manually switching the bands with wifi. I had 110Mbps/45Mbps
Low download speeds that would be useful only for basic internet use without demands.
Big difference from the speeds that our mobile phone gets in the same spot but also a big difference from routers that are 4G+ cat6. I immediately replaced it with a higher category and more expensive one.
I have it in the countryside. 2 smart TVs, tablet, 3 mobiles simultaneously without interruption. It's worth its money
Sometimes it may disconnect, but it could be a network issue rather than the router. Attention!!! Before inserting the sim into the router, have you inserted it into your mobile phone to make it work without a pin?
I inserted a SIM card and it works normally, without any problems. Its range is up to 10 meters. You download the application, unlock the SIM from the application and you're ready.
A great choice for someone who needs it for use either in a vacation home or in a house where there is no line to get fixed internet. "In the year 2023" it's shameful to mention... It solved my problem with a sim card with unlimited data usage from Cosmote!
Replaced an older (ancient as it turned out) TP Link 3020, which had a USB stick connected to it that had the SIM card. Speed increased from 6 Mbps to 35!!! Wish I had changed it earlier.
In general, it meets my needs for streaming and work. The speed is affected by network coverage (Cosmote), but to achieve maximum speed, the solution is a 5G-4G mobile phone. Speed with the router is 20 Mbps, with the mobile at 35 to 40 Mbps. The advantage is the LAN ports and it synchronizes quickly once it is in operation. I have no comparison with another similar product, but I bought a Huawei mobile 4G modem where it couldn't reach more than 10 Mbps and I had to charge it every 4 hours.
I didn't notice any difference in speed and range compared to a Vodafone 4G mobile Wi-Fi (version 5.4). It was purchased for use in the countryside and had the same speed as the smaller Vodafone device. Its only advantage is the LAN ports because I connected a TV box and television.
I have version v5.2. The area has relatively good 4G, my mobile gets 40-50, but the router struggles to reach 20-25. The biggest difference, for the worse, is that the ping time is 5 times longer than on my mobile. I tested all of this via Wi-Fi, standing next to the router to ensure the best speed. Note that it has the latest firmware. On the positive side, it was very easy to install, has a great Wi-Fi range, and is stable in operation. Overall, I do not recommend it.
The evaluation concerns version 5. Without making any firmware updates, it worked easily, quickly and flawlessly for the past 2 months. The speed is very good considering the area (60-80 MBs), it has very good range (smart TV on the upper floor works wirelessly and Netflix plays without any problems). It has a very good signal (the device is located on the ground floor, 1m away from the window). 7 wireless devices (tablet, 2 TVs, 4 smartphones) and one wired (laptop) are connected to it. It solved my problem of cheap and fast internet in my vacation home!
Excellent mobile router. If it has 4G coverage and sufficient signal from the provider at the point where it will be placed, it performs very well and is very stable. The 2 antennas help a lot in sensitivity and wifi range. Personally, in a speed test I did on a PC connected with Ethernet, it brought better results than when I had the sim card in my mobile phone in the same position. Highly recommended.
So my phone reaches 380mbps on 4G in this specific spot. With this, I get 20 to 22. It should be at least 130 if not 150 as advertised. And I have a small battery router for 20 euros without antennas and it only reaches 90mbps. Terrible. I will investigate what's going on, otherwise I want my money back.
The box states up to 300mbps but it does not refer to the maximum speed it can reach on 4g. It reaches 20-30mbps with an unlimited cosmote card. Get a category cat 6 or higher for faster speeds on 4g.
Excellent router, I inserted a Vodafone on the go card and it works great. It has the ability to customize many settings, such as setting the data bandwidth to 12 Mbps and it maintains it perfectly. You can set the total amount of GB consumed each month so as not to exceed the limit, for example 200 GB. It has parental control, online mode through mobile tether application, etc. Okay, my phone may reach 100 Mbps and this one only 80 Mbps, but I bought it for 65€ and my phone costs 500€. Its purpose is different, such as having internet in a cottage, in a place where there is no landline or as a backup to an existing landline, and it performs perfectly. The only problem I found is that the tether application, which allows you to remotely control some basic functions, often shows connection failure.
A pretty good router for a very specific job, of course. If it had a 5ghz band, it would be ideal.
I have had it for a year+ in a vacation home, so far it has not presented the slightest problem or disconnection. It is stable in operation and reliable.
I bought it to take advantage of the unlimited data from the Vodafone program, because the fixed internet was around 12-14 Mbps and did not support upgrading to VDSL. I read that in some cases the speeds on speedtests were lower than those on mobile. In my case, the opposite happened. The speeds on speedtests are much higher than on mobile (Xiaomi Note 10). The speeds are not stable, but I think this is mostly due to the unstable 4G coverage. Because I have a speedtester on my NAS that measures every hour, the average download speed is around 50-60 Mbps with fluctuations from 20 to 90. I don't have it near a window. Maybe it would catch better, but I don't want to move it.
I have the wifi turned off. I only use the router to receive internet, which it sends to another router that distributes it to the home network. It has several options, such as setting a specific 4G band or connecting automatically. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the product.
The system is easy to install and has many features. However, I bought it for when I go to my summer house and with the unlimited packages that companies offer, I thought I would have fast internet for only 10€. On my phone, the same company with the same sim card gets 90-100mbps up and 10-12 dw, while with this system it barely gets 20-10mbps up and 2-3 dw. It's not worth the money, stay away from it!!!!!!!
Quite easy to connect... the downside is that it doesn't have an input for telephone cable (which is logical), but the biggest negative is that the plastic that holds the sim card broke very easily. I had to use another 3 in 1!
Easy to install, speed around 20 mb/s with Vodafone 4G network. It doesn't freeze in the country house where I use it. I also placed an extender for a space of 120sqm, but it wasn't necessary in the end. I had signal everywhere. Overall, it's a good solution if you don't want to deal with a fixed line and contracts. I think it should cost around €55.
The signal reception is much better than that of the mobile. The speeds are obviously proportional to the strength of the signal. I highly recommend it.
Easy to set up, yet with many options for experienced users. Simply insert a SIM card and turn it on, and you instantly have internet via WiFi. If you want more, you'll find configuration options for Guest WiFi, QoS, OpenVPN Server, bandwidth control, scheduled operation for specific devices (e.g. children's mobile phones), DynamicDNS, and much more with a user-friendly interface. There is also a mobile app to check your remaining MB (you set how much you have each month) and WiFi password.
I installed it in a house where I go occasionally and I do my work with one VF card without paying a monthly fee when I'm away. The signal is 2 bars but the location is difficult between other buildings. However, it fully covers me, for example, YouTube plays smoothly.
I think it's worth the money. Theoretically, with a USB adapter to the power, you can take it with you to camping, for example, and not have to constantly tether your phone with all that entails.
It is stable with a Cosmote connection. It operates at a good temperature and I haven't had any disconnections even with 6 devices connected simultaneously, where 2 were streaming YouTube and Netflix. One less star because I think it could be more affordable than 68.50€.
Maximum speed 50 Mpps. Same sim card as Cosmote, in the same location on an iPhone gives a speed of 180 Mpps, while on this specific router only 50 max.
Without fully exploiting its capabilities, I have it in an outdoor space (protected from rain), maybe later I will put it in a box for protection from dust, and connected with 2 TP Link C100 cameras. I have not noticed any instability in the connection in the one month that I have been using it. It has good reception for the area where I have placed it. I am satisfied.
Don't buy the worst product on the market, it's better to throw your money in the trash.

A very good and affordable option. Its speed depends directly on the network and power.
