The EOS C70 now features 12-bit RAW recording with Cinema RAW Light up to 645Mbps, unlocking the exceptional capabilities of the Super 35mm DGO sensor. Three Cinema RAW Light options are available, including LT (Light), ST (Standard), and HQ (High Quality), as well as options for Super 35mm and Super 16mm formats. In addition to the existing XF-AVC and HEVC 4:2:2 10-bit recording formats, the EOS C70 now offers even greater workflow flexibility to meet your production needs.

DGO 4K Super 35mm Sensor

For truly impressive image quality

Equipped with the new 4K Super 35mm sensor and DIGIC DV7 image processor, the EOS C70 provides high-resolution image with 16+ stops of dynamic range.

Multiple recording formats

The two UHS-II SD card slots allow for simultaneous recording or relay recording, in different formats. The XF-AVC format supports ALL-I and Long-GOP, while MP4 recording offers further flexibility.

Lens Flexibility

RF lenses offer exceptional quality and speed, with performance optimized for the EOS C70 and EOS R series cameras. The ultra-fast focusing and superb optical quality are combined with unique features, such as the Lens Control Ring that provides additional control over settings. The EOS R System adapters offer even more creative control, allowing filmmakers to use their existing EF and EF-S lenses. The EF-EOS R 0.71x MOUNT ADAPTER enables the use of Canon's wide range of EF full-frame lenses on RF mount cameras and maintains the same full-frame angle of view when used with Super 35mm cameras.

The EOS C70 features the renowned Dual Pixel CMOS AF (DPAF) system. Filmmakers can now take advantage of the precise and reliable autofocus it offers, with subject tracking and face detection.
