I traveled from Greece to Munich and back with a xiaomi redmi note 8 pro (not exactly light) and it never came off. I cut two stars because the base without the phone on top creaks annoyingly.   The base is very good and stable. The suction cup sticks to the glass and doesn't come off at all. If you make the mistake of removing it, don't bother trying to place it back because it simply won't stick at all. When driving without a phone placed on it, it creaks sometimes and may bother you. However, from the moment I placed it, it stayed on the glass for 1 and a half years without coming off even once. When I sold the car and removed it, it never stuck again on my new car.
