Played after we changed the signal amplifier on the central antenna of the apartment building. (110€). When I informed the service that I installed it on the same day I received it, but there was no picture, they told me that I needed to have a signal above 85%. It should be noted that two other older Philips devices that I have play flawlessly with the previous amplifier. Therefore, they should report that it has a reception problem. I suffered for 4 days and paid the technician the above amount.
The television, 15 days after its delivery, had a small explosion while it was turned off and then had a strong burnt smell. It has nothing to do with the power supply network as there were other devices connected to the same socket and they were not affected. Needless to say, I do not recommend it
Excellent television. It has a little issue with playing movies from torrents, for example, Pirate Bay, Kickass Torrents, etc. And when the movie was playing, if you closed it and pressed play again, the image would stutter, and it did the same in RF mode, i.e. on terrestrial channels! However, when I unplugged it from the socket and plugged it back in, it didn't have the same problem again. Very vibrant colors, incredible quality on HD channels. On Xbox and PS4, the image is magical, you enjoy the games with seamless graphics and visuals! Unfortunately, the screen panel is fragile, and with sudden movements of the Xbox controller after continuous frustration in Call of Duty, the screen breaks with the slightest impact and needs replacement.
It has a complicated menu and it made it quite difficult for me to understand how it works. The remote control is quite uncomfortable.
Initially, I had the same problem with the WiFi that others describe, but I restarted the router and then it connected. It plays Netflix satisfactorily and also supports ERTflix without any problem after a software update that I did because it didn't work every time I tried.
After about 1 month and without much use, I am coming back because now the remote control has stopped responding. I have to unplug it because it gets stuck on a channel and you can't do anything.
After all this, I do not recommend it under any circumstances. There are lesser-known brands and equally affordable TVs that are much better.
My television turned out to be defective.
Let me start by saying that it was very difficult for me to screw in the two "legs" of the stand. It required so much force that I thought the "threads" would break. Eventually, the legs were screwed in, but one screw is now useless: the "cross" on the head of the screw broke due to the force I applied with the screwdriver.
But let's get to the important part. Three days after the purchase, the television stopped responding to commands from the remote control and kept restarting. The only way to turn it off was by unplugging it. The next day, it was working fine until it happened again.
This happens every day after a few hours of operation. It's possible that a circuit board is overheating or something like that.
It was impossible to contact the store to tell them that I want to return the television. They only have one phone line for all the stores, and it never answers. I sent them a fax and messages through the form on their website, but nothing. Finally, after many attempts, I managed to speak to someone who apologized for the inconvenience, said that the return request has been registered, and that they will contact me at some point regarding the process.
It has been over two weeks and they haven't contacted me yet. Meanwhile, I have a television that stops working every night at some point.
I will never buy a PHILIPS television again because this particular one, regardless of the possible defect which could have been just bad luck, is nothing special as a television.
I have had it for about a month now, so the experience is limited. So here are my first impressions:
The picture is quite good (not perfect, although it is Full HD) and can be adjusted. The sound is impeccable. The viewing angle could be better. I think you can see well at 120 degrees, but at a larger angle, the image is different. It does not have a very good Wi-Fi receiver, so you should make sure to place it in an area with a strong signal. Yesterday, the Netflix app froze and kept showing that it was loading. I tried closing and reopening the TV, but nothing. I did not try uninstalling and reinstalling the Netflix app (that might have solved the problem). Fortunately, Philips released a recent software update for the TV, which I installed and the problem was resolved.
One drawback is that you cannot sort the channels (put them in the numbers you want). The only way is to create a list with your favorite channels and you can sort them there. Also, when you pressed the program information, the sound would cut off. This was also resolved with the latest software update.
Overall, I would say it is worth it as you get a Full HD Smart TV for 230€.
I will come back after a sufficient amount of time has passed to have a more complete opinion.

- Sometimes it gets stuck on a channel and does not respond to any commands from the remote control, including the power button. So the only solution is to unplug it. I have noticed that this happens more often when you quickly press the channel change button. From what I have seen in the comments, other users have reported the same issue. Fortunately, it happens rarely, otherwise it would be a big problem. I hope a future software update will fix the issue.
- Quite often, when you turn it on, it has lost Wi-Fi connection and cannot reconnect even if you enter the password again. The only solution is to restart the router. Quite annoying because it happens frequently.

The TV has been running for a year now. With the latest software updates, all the problems have been resolved! The TV is working fine. Fortunately, Philips takes care of its models and does not abandon them like other companies. So the overall conclusion is that for its price, the TV is great!
The TV connected immediately to the WiFi without any of the restrictions that I read in letters and numbers.

For athina81! Connect the TV to the internet with a cable. There is an update on 16.09.20 542mb. It may fix the problem with the WiFi.
Cannot connect to the internet, complicated menu. I was told by Phillip's to change the password on the router because it only accepts characters from A-F and 0-9, but nothing, still no connection. I turned my mobile into a hotspot, but still the same. I bought a smart TV and I have a TV without internet... It has been 9 days and on the third phone call I made to them, they told me that the request for a repair or product change has not been registered.
