I worked hard to get the Apple Watch. I had high expectations for it and I bought it. I could mention quite a few positives, but the PRICE and the BATTERY are really THORNS. A-THORN, which overshadow many other positives. I have thought many times about selling it and going back to my small and beloved Xiaomi band (6). If the band 7 comes out and I like it, I would replace it without a second thought, to be honest. But let's not forget the dream I bought it for after I worked hard and treated myself. If you read this, I would love your opinion on anything or your own experiences! Tough times for princes and expenses amounting to half a salary (in the best of cases).
+ Perfect synchronization even with iPhone 6s.
+ Amazing screen, perfect colors.
+ Sturdy device.
+ The speaker for the alarm clock.
+ Strong and nice-feeling vibration.
+ Because you can download third-party apps, you can also download a game to pass the time.
+ Let's not kid ourselves: beautiful, elegant, luxurious.
+ You can respond with voice dictation to messages. And you can talk with the watch if you want to feel like James Bond for 2 minutes. Of course, this helps while driving. Personally, I don't find responding with the watch very convenient anyway.
+ Many activity modes.
+ Nice lens.
- The price!!!!
- It doesn't recognize when you stop exercising. What the hell, for €350 I would want this feature.
- Coming from the Mi Band 6, it annoys me IMMENSELY that to track your sleep you have to activate the sleep mode and it doesn't recognize it automatically. If you fall asleep without doing it, you lose your measurements. Also, the information from "Health" about sleep is at least disappointing, especially compared to the Xiaomi app.
- Battery, battery, and BATTERY! In 6 months it dropped to 96%. With everything activated, I would say it lasts about 1.5 days. With many workouts and many measurements, at most 1 day. The battery is a joke. I like that it has hiking for measurement. If you go to the mountains for a 2-day hiking trip, the watch is useless. Unless you want to carry a charger and power bank, then I give up. In the summer, I go on all-day hikes and we walk for 8-10 hours. If you track for so many hours, forget about the watch! It has slept half the day.
- Generally, the "Health" app. I find it chaotic, incomplete, and difficult.
- It doesn't have stress measurement.
• Guys, I don't know if the measurements are good. I think they are generally. The steps it counts daily, let's not kid ourselves, are not accurate. No watch is accurate. You fold clothes and it shows 100 steps, you know what I mean.
• Also, if you set automatic measurement for oxygen, heart rate, etc., it measures them infrequently compared to Xiaomi. For example, it might measure every hour. The Mi Band measured every ~5 minutes, for instance. Not that such frequent measurement is necessary, but I point it out.
• Okay, quite a few faces. Quite elegant, some playful. But you don't have countless options.
• Towards the end of the day, if I still have battery, I like the always-on feature on my wrist. It makes the watch even more beautiful!
• Guys, I'm afraid to put it in the bathroom. It says waterproof for showering, but I don't want my €350 to drown. You don't worry about the Mi Band at €30. Plus, I took a bath in the Aoos River for hours with it and it didn't suffer ANYTHING!
Guys, in general, but personally, any smartwatch has A LOT of things. BUT... what do I need the photos for on my watch, for example? Maybe a good smart band, with basic-daily-quick applications (weather, altimeters, measurements, music...) would be enough! This allows for a lower price, a larger battery, and in this, Xiaomi, HUAWEI, Honor, and Amazfit have won.
