I have had it for about 6 months. From the beginning, I expected it to be more "Chinese", as it claims to have a lot of lumens for its price. However, it disappointed me. It has nothing to do with Chinese flashlights that promise high brightness. Neither in terms of battery life, nor in terms of build quality.
It has two modes. In the high mode, it has excellent brightness, I believe the highest for its price of 60 euros, with the trade-off of heating up (which is logical). I just wish it had another (third) mode, lower in brightness, for longer battery life - not that its battery doesn't last - but more for indoor use, as it still gets hot even in the low mode.
After many lenses I have changed and having a little experience, I decided to try this one to see what will suit me.. unfortunately it doesn't suit anything and let's move on to the negatives,
its light and beam are very close, meaning for a distance of up to 20 meters it opens up quite a bit and gets lost..
as for close range, its light is so strong that it is not functional for simple tasks..
its charging is very slow
it heats up a lot with continuous use.
heavy and bulky
quite expensive at 40€ at most would be the right pricing
positively,
maybe someone who likes playing with lenses would like it as a construction and as a gadget, beyond that the lens is not helpful...
I am very satisfied, I use it when working on cars at night. It literally turns night into day. Especially on the highest setting, it works more like a spotlight than a flashlight. The battery is very satisfactory on the first setting, but it runs out incredibly quickly on the second setting. The second highest setting automatically turns off if the flashlight doesn't have enough battery, it doesn't let you turn it on. It is heavy but it doesn't bother me. It charges quite slowly, which also doesn't bother me, but it is definitely not suitable for everyday pocket flashlight use. As for waterproofing, I had it out in the rain for a while and it didn't suffer any damage. The batteries can be replaced if desired, they are not fixed.
I think the 10 reviews you will find here say it all about this flashlight. I will just summarize.
Positives: Brightness. You won't find a flashlight with more lumens at this price in the Greek market.
Negatives (a lot): Size. In an era where you can easily fit 3000-4000 lumens in the palm of your hand, this flashlight looks like a prehistoric beast. I will cautiously accept the argument of a club.
Flexibility of LEDs. The 2 brightness levels make no sense. It would be better to have a circuit with 4-5 levels for greater usability.
Functionality. The flashlight overheats easily and quickly; it will melt your bag or the plastics it touches after short use. If you are very lucky, it might set your house or car on fire.
Build quality. Average quality in the body of the flashlight, poor waterproofing from water and dust. Battery is a joke. Deep China. Two decent 26650 batteries will cost 30-35 euros.
In one sentence: As a toy for flashlight enthusiasts like me? Yes. For professionals, warehouse workers, security personnel, rescue teams, farmers, hunters, etc., NO. Not even as a joke.
Really, without exaggeration, this specific flashlight turns night into day. A friend of mine got it and showed it to me, and I was amazed. The 8,000 lumens are too many for a handheld flashlight. It can definitely compete with other well-known flashlights that cost up to 200€. However, it cannot be used for everyday/continuous use under any circumstances, as it overheats very easily. As a result, if you touch it after a minute of use, you risk getting burned without exaggeration. It is also quite heavy, but that is understandable since it has a very large battery and is made of sturdy material. I recommend it to everyone who wants a very powerful flashlight for occasional use. It is the best value for money.
First of all, it is huge. Someone described it as a bat and they are not wrong. The weight is about 800 grams and the length is like an A4 glue stick. Sturdy construction!
It comes with the charger (10 watts) and the micro USB cable.
The flashlight also has a USB out to charge other devices or phones. And a tripod socket.
It takes 2 removable 26650 batteries. So you can expand their capacity. The one that comes with it is 5,000mAh.
Its intensity is incredible. Very powerful flashlight, but unfortunately I don't know if the 8,000 lumens are true or not. I don't have any other point of comparison. It has a focusing wheel.
It requires caution because I aimed it from a close distance at fabric and it caught fire. It easily lights up dry grass and paper for fun. It also heats up at very high temperatures, possibly above normal.
It could have more intensity levels. Unfortunately, the 2 levels are not enough for such a wide range of 8,000 lumens.
Finally, the flashlight works without the battery, as long as it is connected with the cable to a power bank or socket. In this way, the intensity of the flashlight is lower than 1,000 lumens.
Although a little expensive, it is a very powerful flashlight. It has two modes, a normal one and a strong one, where you can really see everything. I haven't tested the battery yet to see how long it lasts. The construction is good, although it is a bit big and heavy, but its light makes up for it
Very powerful flashlight with good battery life even at maximum. It lasted me two hours and something on the first charge. It is also nice and sturdy. I recommend it for purchase.
