This is perhaps the only book that extensively references internal factors and categorizes the theory of attack and defense as well as the neutralization circuits that affect the execution of techniques in Aikido so analytically. It delves deeply into the art of Aikido and highlights its beauty as it should indeed be seen by the reading public, not just as another self-defense art. It touches on areas that even serious practitioners of the art are unaware of or know very little about. Generally, it is addressed to those readers who are looking for something different, a different nuance in the approach to martial arts, something that they will find in Aikido anyway. By reading this excellent book, the reader will have a clear and complete picture of the art of Aikido, to the point where they will feel that they have been practicing for quite some time in a Dojo and their interest remains undiminished from the first to the last page. Finally, we must acknowledge the perfection of the author's sketches, which have traveled around the world. Even the most perfect photographs would not depict or express with such grace and detail the movements of Aikidoka on paper.
