I made the mistake and gave the cat a first dose (1 very light pump of the dispenser) as it said on the packaging (that is, for cats 1-2 pumps of the dispenser). She had diarrhea for 5 days, which smelled very bad. Otherwise, the product itself does not smell fishy at all, nor does her fur or mouth.
When and if I try again, I will do it slowly with a dropper and progressive dosing to get her used to it, and not with the pump.

Be careful with the tube inside, it was bigger which caused it to bend and the pump not to work properly, I cut it and everything is fine now.

I don't know if it works with the hair, I only know that it smells like fish. I put it on the dog and the house stank for three days, even after I gave it a bath.

Use in a 17-year-old dog and a 5-year-old cat (the cat had severe hair loss and dandruff). I did not notice a dramatic decrease in hair loss, but the fur became very shiny and the dandruff almost disappeared. As for taste, neither the cat nor the dog seemed to be thrilled.
