I am a fan of Mario since I was a child, I have played everything that exists in Mario from the Nintendo 64 console onwards. I bought the game for the switch just to have it because it is collectible and all. Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine are unacceptable, they lag a lot and you don't enjoy the game at all, it's a shame the money you spend. Even the quality in Sunshine on the GameCube that I have is better than the one on the switch. Mario Galaxy is definitely worth it, it's amazing! But for 130 that I bought it, why do they raise the prices thinking that the selling price should be only 30 euros for Galaxy. It's a shame for Nintendo to make such big mistakes, especially when it comes to their protagonist. Those who say it's perfect should obviously have never played Mario in their life! Don't ever get it, especially for the money they sell it, you will regret it! It's better to find it on a PC or if you have an old console, continue on the old console!

Did you find this review helpful?I had bought it as soon as it came out since I hadn't played any of the three games (except a little bit of galaxy). For galaxy alone, it is worth the purchase and the money it requires (if you haven't played it again).
Now, for me the negative, and maybe of course this is also its positive, is that the games have been transferred almost as they were back then, controls, graphics, everything.
For this reason, Mario 64 seems unplayable to me, I have already tried twice and will try again.
Sunshine has its difficulties as well, but once you learn it, it becomes easier to handle. It's just not as "strong" of a game as the other two.

Super mario 64 is really unplayable, as its gameplay is terrible. It may have historical value, but its transfer to the switch is not adapted to the console's capabilities. I have no opinion on super mario sunshine, as I haven't played it yet. In conclusion, it's worth it, especially at a price around 40 euros.
Edit 18/7/2022: And sunshine, although old, is worth trying. A very nice game, but also with many difficulties. Galaxy keeps you engaged over time if you want to unlock all the levels.

SUPER MARIO 64
The game that changed gameplay and 3D forever, while the top PlayStation was still trying. One phrase I can say is that if you haven't played or experienced it during its time, you won't understand its value (I didn't experience it either), but given that I have the opportunity to play it now, I am happy. The only negative is definitely the 4:3 screen, but yeah...

The most underrated and "worst" 3D Mario because it followed Mario 64, which was 100% perfect and had to offer something better, which I believe it did by 70%. Personally, I love the story and the world of Delfino Island, as well as the other worlds. Another negative is the controls, which require some effort to handle well, but if you're someone who learns quickly, you have nothing to fear.
SUPER MARIO GALAXY
The best Super Mari...NO, IT'S NOT GALAXY 2, but it's definitely a Mario game that once again changed gameplay and offered us a perfect experience with an amazing soundtrack and an incredible adventure. It was also released on the Wii, which was essentially made for it. I don't know exactly how the gameplay looks on the Switch, but it's not difficult at all and it will captivate you on its own. The only negative, if I had to say, is the poor decision-making on where to go for the next level, which bothered me a bit, while in the second game, for example, everything was in a beautiful sequence. In short, buy it because the stock has stopped since March 31st, and it's worth having in your collection. I think that 2/3 of the games are no longer playable.. I'm speaking for myself, of course.
I don't diminish their importance and value in gaming (specifically Mario 64), but personally, I can't play the first two on the lite at all. Galaxy is still okay.
But the price is excessive.However, I understand those who give it a 4-5/5 rating.

Did you find this review helpful?I didn't play Mario 64 during its time, even though I was a gamer in the 90s. To tell you the truth, maybe it was innovative back then, but now I don't like it at all. The camera is slow to follow you, the controls are mediocre, and if I were to play it, it would be very difficult for me to get into it. I didn't like the beginning either, and the screen is smaller in this one...
Mario Sunshine, I happen to have it on the GameCube and I can say they did an excellent job. The graphics are slightly improved, the camera controls are good, and overall it's very enjoyable.
Mario Galaxy is my favorite overall. They did an excellent port, thankfully they changed the spin attack to the Y button, and they added a marker to catch the stars with touch or motion controls. It's an exceptional and clever game that is worth buying, even just for this collection.
As for the negatives... You can't play Galaxy without a controller that has motion controls. As for the price, if you go to buy all three separately, they easily cost over 58 euros, so it's worth the purchase.
4 stars because they could have included Galaxy 2 as well.
