  You open the package, put batteries in it, and it works immediately on the Sony TV. It has a long range (I tested it at about 8 meters). It looks high-quality.
  The buttons have a peculiarity. When you press them, they make a click, like mouse buttons. Some people like it (it's a bit addictive), others find it annoying.
  The size of the buttons is a bit small. It would be better if they were a little bigger.
  The layout of the buttons is not like that of the original genuine remote control and it doesn't suit me. I have to search every time to find the home and return buttons. I don't think it would be suitable for elderly people at all.
  After a month of use, it sometimes gets stuck. You have to take out the batteries and put them back in to unstick it and make it work again.

  I bought it to replace the old broken controller of an Entry level Sony smart TV. Very satisfied with its response and functions. Everything works as it should. For the price of 3 euros, I should have bought 2-3, especially because of my child.

  Positives:
  - Amazing response. In this aspect, it is better than the original Sony controller.
  - The buttons have a very good feel and except for the voice and program buttons, they are tactile.
  - The price.
  - The quality compared to the price. The shift button is illuminated.

  Negatives:
  - As I mentioned, most buttons are tactile. However, this means that the click sound is heard even when we don't want to, for example, at night when someone next to us may be sleeping.
  - The guide button that the old controller had and was very useful only works if you have pressed the shift button first. When you press the shift, it takes a few seconds to deactivate and allow you to return to the normal functions of the controller. I haven't found a way to deactivate it manually.
  - I believe that the batteries will last much less due to the illuminated shift button (which lights up every time you press any other button). However, if you use rechargeable batteries, there won't be a problem.
