Suitable for 3-10 players, 8+ years old.
You dig for gold in the depths of a mine. Suddenly, a pickaxe breaks and the lamp light goes out. The saboteur has struck again – but who among your fellow players is the saboteur? Will you find the gold first, or will the saboteur's devious actions succeed? After three rounds, the player with the most gold pieces is the winner.

Very nice game. You can play it with both a lively and a quiet group. It can support 3 people and more, but I recommend playing it with 5 or more because there is a chance that there will be no saboteurs among 3-4 people. Nevertheless, we played it once with 3 people and enjoyed it, but we chose between 3 gold diggers and 2 saboteurs to have more chances of at least one of us being a saboteur, but at the same time not being completely sure if there is someone.
Excellent card game!!!
It is worth more than its money.... It keeps the interest and laughter constant... and even better if there are 4 players. Excellent for both home and travel (small size)
It is judged based on the fact that it is a game only with cards, and yet it manages to keep the interest and the company alive!
Very good game and incredibly enjoyable with many people. It is absolutely worth the few money it costs and it is very convenient to take it with you as it even fits in a small bag.
Very nice game!
With less than 10 euros, it's a shame not to have it in your collection!
It's better to play with several people though.
For those who already have it, I suggest some variation in the distribution of gold at the end, as the way suggested by the instructions is surprisingly unfair and makes you wonder!! You can either play simply with wins, or distribute the gold with standard amounts (e.g. the first player gets 3 pieces of gold and the rest of the gold diggers get 2 pieces) or whatever else you can think of.
The most value for money, perfect because it has the ability to be played by small and large groups. It has full "action", conflicts, and fights. I love it
It's a great game, the more people the better it gets...
With 2-3 players, it's not as interesting, try it with large groups and when you learn it and get bored, get the second part to change everything for you! Excellent game
If you are a group of 4 or 5+ people (below that it's a bit boring), you will love it. With the expansion, it becomes one of the best games I have ever played. Each player has a hidden role, creating secret alliances and rivalries. Full of intrigue and fun.
Nice game for a group, you learn quickly and easily, with quality cards, affordable, with luck playing a role in the outcome of the game but also in victory since the cards that reward with gold are also random. The roles are interesting as among the hardworking gold diggers there are also cunning saboteurs and if the saboteurs are revealed early in the round, they will have a hard time, so they have to play smart to make it difficult for the others without being noticed, otherwise the others will isolate them. This creates an interesting situation and everyone is particularly careful in their moves and sideways glances go back and forth on the table. Many will like the element of bluffing and hidden identity. Apart from the cards with the paths with which we create the road to gold, there are also action cards that change the outcome. As for durability, there are already 2 extra sets.
The game Saboteur 1+2 is one of the best card games I have ever played.. I play it with my cousins for endless hours and we never get bored.. It is a very nice game, worth 100% of its money and it is very entertaining and funny.
A cheap and easy game that will definitely be liked by the group, especially if they are not into board games. In its positives, the price. In its negatives, the illustration that personally I don't like and overall I wouldn't put it as my first choice in a group.
A nice must-have tabletop game, it is cheap and provides laughter.
The illustrations are good and the cards are of good quality. For the whole group and family, you can convince everyone to play, difficulty level 0.
For my standards,
80% luck factor to determine the winner of each round, if the saboteur does not have the luck to get good cards, they lose, same goes for the gold diggers.
I have played with up to 5 people and we always complain that we don't have enough cards, I don't know if we are doing something wrong, but it's very few...
However, in the end, the winner is the one with the most treasures.
By the middle of each round, you have figured out who the saboteur is.
P.S. With the cases of the box, the deck does not fit in its slot (this does not affect my rating)
Really awesome game, for big or small groups, for all ages, smart, with suspense and intrigue... very very good!
