I disagree that it is a strong light. I have it in a medium to small kitchen and it is not sufficient as a light source. It makes it useless for that specific space. In a hallway, it would be okay. As a camera, the image is acceptable in terms of clarity. It captures a large area (wide-angle lens). Different ways to view 360. Good app, easy connection.

It has 3 options always with the light switch on:
On: The light turns on but it takes 1-2 minutes to connect to the app if you have turned off the switch.
Off: It is connected but there is no light.
Auto: It turns on with a photocell but has a small range, so if you are a bit further away, it does not turn on. Also, the auto mode gets stuck.

So, 2 downsides - brightness and usability as a lamp

Very durable camera. Works flawlessly in an outdoor sheltered area. Very satisfactory lighting. Easy installation and good app. The lamp switch must remain open. Recording works great.
