Did you find this review helpful?My comment is only about the image as I use an external professional microphone and not the camera's. So, regarding the image quality, I am relatively satisfied and relatively disappointed. I expected a 1080p camera to not have so much grain. The image quality is definitely quite good, but it is too sharp, resulting in a lack of smooth color consistency even with a few color contrasts (e.g. you with a dark shirt and a white wall behind you), but instead an annoying grain everywhere. It is not a matter of adjustment, it is purely a camera issue.
Clearly, it is a very good camera and relatively affordable (at 40 euros) for teleconferences and any other use, but if you are thinking of upgrading from 720p to 1080p for a better, clearer image, then I would not recommend it if you are already satisfied with 720p. Finally, the large 16:9 frame of HD resolution practically does not offer anything, it just allows your interlocutor to see more space behind you.

The stand is convenient for "clipping" onto the screen but also has a hole for a screw (possibly for a wall). The cable could be 5-10 cm longer. The camera has a lens cover made of soft plastic that easily nests without accidentally falling off.
One minor drawback is that the colors in the image seem to have high contrast (e.g., I'm wearing a blue shirt against a white background and the shirt appears black in the video). This may be due to my own poor adjustment in the dynamic range, which I haven't figured out how to change.

The main reason for the purchase was for conference calls where it performed excellently. In moderate lighting conditions, the image was bright and clear to the extent of the camera's capabilities. Very good microphone and I believe the settings are appropriate for the camera's use. The negative is its base, which does not easily attach to my monitor.

In low light it is moderate but it does its job, I have a ring LED lamp and it is great, I make calls on discord, skype, etc. it works perfectly with obs and never lags, its cable is relatively short but there are adapters and you can make it as long as you want and not to forget to tell you that it does not have automatic focus for example if you put your hand close to the lens it does not focus automatically and the other issue has to do with whether you have light behind you then you may see a white burnt thing (it is light sensitive). Five stars because it has helped me, it fits on a tripod too!!!

Did you find this review helpful?I wanted a camera to make video calls. With such a low price, I was afraid it wouldn't be good, but I trusted the reviews and I came out a winner. That's why I'm adding mine. I have a MAC with High Sierra, I plugged in the USB and nothing happened. I thought maybe it doesn't work? I opened Facetime and it was fully functional :-) That's it. I immediately made a call, video and audio worked great. That's it. Well done. If I had to say something negative, it would be that its base doesn't sit well on my screen because it has a significant curve at the end of my monitor (you can see it in the photo). If your monitor doesn't have a curve, you won't notice it. It doesn't fall off - but it doesn't inspire confidence. I will think of a solution to secure it. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it.

Don't expect something crystal clear in full screen, it's not the camera for that, but in a small chat window it looks fine. Its definite advantage compared to the rest of the bunch in this category is its very good performance in low light. The microphone is average, not terrible, it picks up sound but produces a bit of echo and noise, imagine being on a speakerphone call with your phone and a fan running in the background.
Anyone considering buying it should take into account that it is a wide-angle camera, meaning if you place it in front of you, it will not only capture you in the frame but also half of the room behind you. Very good brightness, in conditions of low lighting, wide image, easy installation. Also, positives are the lens cover and the convenient, long cable. I deduct one star for the quality of the microphone, which has low response at a distance of 30-35cm. Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase of ~35€, I see no reason to spend more for this level of use.

The fact that it is so bright is a matter of perspective, sometimes it feels like I'm coming down from heaven on one side, but I don't think they sit next to a balcony door... I use a Mac, so I can only speak for that, you just connect it and it works. So yes, for its price, it deserves 5 stars

Pros: For a 1080 camera, it has a very good price. The image quality is quite good, although it's not the best in low light (however, the comparison is made with cameras that cost much more). It's the perfect solution for quick tasks. It has microphones, but they are not useful to me and I have already turned them off.
Cons: The cable is very short (even for me, who have the desktop on the desk, but I wanted to discreetly route it from behind) and I ordered an extension. The microphone is not good at all - if someone wants to use it as a microphone (and if the camera is at a reasonable distance, it can hardly be heard) and I have already turned it off - but I also have a very good one, so the comparison is unfair. Did you find this review helpful?Purchase a few days ago for 39.99 from a well-known electronics chain... first impression, decent camera, very good image quality in both natural and artificial lighting, and even in the dark with the screen light, I would say it's OK... sound, as they tell me, no issues, although I usually use Bluetooth to avoid disturbing others... it works perfectly fine on Viber, Skype, Messenger, Facebook, Zoom... plug and play on Windows 10 immediately, no software for settings, they are done through the respective functioning application... it also has a plastic cover in the front for protection from dust...!!! The cable for PC connection is sufficient. I was considering the c920 or c922, but in the end, I preferred this one... Ultimately, for simple everyday use for communication, as well as telecommuting/tele-education, I believe it is just right, especially at this price point where the prices have finally dropped where they should... Definitely, for someone with different requirements, professional use, streaming, etc., it may not be suitable, they would need to go up a category.
