1) The screw that seals the battery wears out within a year of use if you constantly insert and remove the battery to charge it. The "slots" of the screw had been cut off in my previous mod from the same company, and it seems that the construction has not changed.

I am a fisherman and all the mods break within 3 months. I tried these waterproof and good tanks from geekvape twice. Both of them had their battery doors broken within 3 months. It was the other version with 2x 18650 batteries. I saw that they made it screwable and I hoped they fixed the problem. From what I see in the reviews, they still have the same issue. It is the fourth Aegis that I have, I have the Mini and two Solo (one of my Solo devices fell from the machine and was never found). I wanted to get the Max for a while, but I read in some reviews that the wattage buttons do not lock, so I was hesitant to buy it. I also saw a video from a YouTuber who said the same thing (he was probably more interested in being the first to release the video rather than reading the manual, which states that the buttons do lock, just like in the other Aegis devices). I like the power output, just like in the previous ones. The battery compartment needs attention when it is new until it settles. The negative aspects I see are that it easily fades and I don't find it as durable in terms of falls.

The worst thing I have ever bought. I give it to him for waterproofing and the 21700 BUT the Quest 2.0 board (Lost vape) produces much better currents with cheaper mods AND the most important thing? While advertised as shockproof, it fell from a table height, the atomizer didn't even scratch, but the plastic bases that hold the entire top part with the 510 on the mod broke. Conclusion? I will buy it again out of necessity for work and hobbies related to water, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone who doesn't need it.
P.S: The classic issue with Geek Vape's battery door. Whoever can, charge it through the type-c and let the battery come out only in case of emergency.

After 2 and something years with the previous Max 100, an upgrade was necessary since the screw cap came off and there was burn-in on the screen pixels. It was worth the money and still works. The new Max has a similar design line but with more compact dimensions, and I find it better and more convenient. The surface on the pole has decreased, and Zeus barely fits. Larger vaporizers will hang. The quality seems to have improved slightly with the screen and materials compared to before, and we'll see how long it will last. It has fallen 2-3 times and luckily it survived. Apart from minor scratches on the paint, it didn't suffer anything else. Overall, satisfied so far. If it lasts as long as the old one, I won't have any complaints.

I will not mention the rest but only the issue with the battery cover. Truly the worst thing. Even worse than the Ilif model. At least that one worked for a while until the contacts in the body or the cover completely broke. Simply bad design.
What I did at first was to remove the sealing rubber band that the cover has. Nothing. It didn't help.
I applied oil once and it worked. It closed well and not crooked. I went to change the battery, and again it was crooked. Using the oiler to close the cover is not a solution. Meanwhile, it had started to throw off the cover and the battery whenever I touched it on a surface. I thought, "I hope this doesn't happen when I'm outside and I have to search for batteries and covers in the dark!"
HERE we are approaching the solution that I gave. I remove the battery, screw on the cover. It screws perfectly on the first try!
So, the problem is located in the contacts, which are thin but mainly in the fact that the spring of the positive pole inside the device has a very strong spring, plus the sealing rubber band. Truly a failure.
What I did was to tap my batteries with a small hammer on the negative side, CAREFUL! We're talking about taking off a quarter of a millimeter. Not more. I tapped the first one and it went in a little further and then it wouldn't catch and it would turn off. I applied a little glue and fixed it. OK! It needs very little. Three or four light taps with a small hammer. Just enough to take some of the tension off the spring. Now, closing it is done on the first try. After some research, what fixes the problem is to place hydraulic tape (plumbers tape) on the threading so that the thickness of the threads increases by 1-2 millimeters, allowing the cap to be screwed on. So, don't throw away your mod for this reason. Otherwise, it works perfectly!

I have literally washed it many times with soap and plenty of water.
Once, I was out for coffee and two friends of mine doubted its waterproofing, so to prove them wrong, I unscrewed the atomizer and submerged it in a glass of water.
I left it in the water for fifteen (15) minutes, took it out, screwed the atomizer back on, and continued vaping while it was still wet from the water.
