    No, absolutely no connection to what it promises. I have combination skin with intense oiliness in the T-zone. I expected it to have a powdery feeling after spraying, given that it is recommended for use over makeup throughout the day to achieve a matte result. If I spray it over moisturizer after washing my face, it shines incredibly badly. It has an acceptable result (not matte but at least it doesn't shine) if applied directly after washing the face, without moisturizer, but it also needs to be spread with fingers in my case because it settles on the minimal fuzz of the face. With these facts, I didn't dare to use it over makeup, the tried and tested renewal with a powder will have a more guaranteed result. It just has a nice scent, otherwise it's a waste of money.
