I bought it for various DIY projects and for cutting wood it is very good, building a wooden shed. Quite stable and I don't find any flaws yet.
Very good tool for an amateur--it does the job very well--I am satisfied with its purchase.
Without being bad in construction, it is not suitable for precision work. At least not as it comes from the factory.
The disc is not parallel to the base, there was a deviation of a few degrees, which forced me to make another base in order to be able to cut straight.
I bought it because it seems to be exactly the same as the slightly smaller model of 1400W but with a slightly more powerful motor, and the smaller model had many good reviews.
I don't know if the smaller one is better, but with this one, I was not very satisfied due to the deviation of the base, which was quite significant for me. I believe the same applies to the smaller model, but accuracy was not the main concern for the users who wrote their opinion because it is indeed exactly the same in construction.
However, it does have power, and the accompanying disc is OK.
I use it for amateur use. It is quite powerful. I replaced its disc with another one from Total with 40 teeth and used it on a four-inch beam, which it cut immediately without damaging the wood. It also cuts accurately at 45 degrees. Its cable, like all Chinese ones, is short, only two meters, but it is thick and looks good. I expected it to be less noisy, the base plate seems sturdy to me, for its power category, I believe it is a bit heavy, and finally, for its price, it is quite good.
It is stable on the makeshift bench I made and very fast. With the factory disk, it leaves small wounds on the wood on the bottom side when cutting. I put a 40-tooth blade and its cutting is impeccable. It doesn't struggle at all, I recommend it
Yesterday I received it. I made some test cuts out of curiosity to see how it works. The 24-tooth blade cut the pallets effortlessly as if they were butter.... I also cut some branches for the fireplace, about 6-7cm in diameter. It didn't struggle at all with cutting them, and neither did I.... The cuts were as if I had polished them with sandpaper. Of course, the blade was of high quality. It shows a sturdy machine. If I compare it to other amateur electric tools that I have, there is no comparison. Day and night... I hope to have the same impression later on.
Today I got it and put it to work.... Powerful machine... 3 blades included (they slightly injure but with a 60 grit it will be fine) and it didn't seem to struggle. It cuts straight and fast, I didn't try the bevel... it looks Chinese but for hobby use it's excellent. At first glance, it seems very good. If I see any changes along the way... I will come back.
