Very stylish for a modern kitchen. It boils 1 liter of water timed at 45 seconds (100 degrees). It has a thermometer for temperature indication and water level. Once closed, it keeps the water hot for about 1 hour.

Beautiful to the eye but...
The first one that arrived had a faulty switch. I proceeded with a replacement. The second one that arrived (note that it arrived before the first one was fully returned, meaning a different device) worked for a few months and then the switch broke again.

Only appearance and that convinced me to buy it, but that's where the positives end. The plastic is terrible. The kettle can only be held by the handle when the water boils. Even a random touch on the sides will burn you. The real problem, however, is the cleaning. It simply doesn't empty all the water due to poor design. Even if you turn it upside down, it retains a large amount of water in the inner walls. If someone also adds the thermometer needle inside the kettle, one can draw the conclusion

Pros: Metallic (not "fake" plastic), sturdy, thermometer to adjust water temperature, switch does not turn on if water is below the limit (not the 0.80 ml it claims, it is smaller, but 0.80 is the height of the thermometer's metal spike), removable lid, not with the usual plastic switch/clasp that easily breaks.
Cons: The only, but significant, drawback is that the switch does not automatically turn off if you remove/lift it before it shuts off on its own when it reaches 100 degrees boiling. And it remains hot when you put it back on the base even if it is completely empty. It requires attention and behavior adjustment until it becomes a habit to manually close it.
Regarding various other comments I read: It is true that the removable lid and the position of the handle can "burn" my hand with steam if I go to refill it immediately after emptying it. But come on! Basic common sense and care for my safety! Either I let it cool down a bit or (what is usual for me) I fill it with a 1-liter glass bottle of tomato juice (with a wide mouth) so that I don't have to move/carry the kettle.
Finally, it is too early to comment on limescale, which of course it will accumulate, and it goes without saying that I don't let it "build up" (I've had it for a week), the citric acid is well-known (boil 1.7 liters of water, add 1-1.5 tablespoons of citric acid, and leave it for 2-3 minutes) and it makes it like new.

The temperature indicator is incredibly useful, I finally achieve my coffee just the way I want it every day.

Beautiful, lightweight, without taking up much space according to its liters (takes up little space on the countertop), very convenient thermometer, lid, and handle on top.
