It can be used to automatically turn off a burner after the set time has elapsed. During the time, the burner can operate normally. Each burner has an independent timer. If more than one timer is set, the timer will always display the lowest remaining time.

It behaves like an egg timer and can only be activated if the cooktop is on, but no cooking zone is active. It can be set within a range of 1 to 99 minutes. After the set time has elapsed, a tone is emitted. If this timer is running, the cooking zones can operate normally.

In induction cooktops, the cooking surface heats only under the cookware, using less than half the energy compared to standard cooktops. Cooking on an induction cooktop provides faster heating, improved thermal efficiency, and more precise control. Compared to conventional electric cooktops, induction cooktops can even halve the cooking time while consuming significantly less energy.

Induction cooktops are known for their extremely easy cleaning, as they only require a wipe with a damp cloth. Since only the cookware heats up, any spills on the cooktop surface do not burn.

Visually, the induction cooktop looks very similar to the ceramic one, but it uses electromagnetism instead of electricity. For this reason, special cookware with a magnetic base is required.
