It is curved, even though most people do not pay attention to the curvature of the screen, I believe that since it is curved, it follows the shape of our eyes in gaming, thus providing a better image. Before that, I had a crappy monitor that didn't even have freesync, so the difference I see is quite significant since this one has 240hz. Plus, I've noticed an improvement in fps in League of Legends. So, if you don't have a monitor that supports freesync or gsync, respectively, I would recommend upgrading because it's worth it regardless of the monitor you choose. The stand is a bit big for me, so I would suggest a monitor arm if you don't have a big desk. It also has plenty of ports and a hole for cable management. In my opinion, I like that it has default modes for gaming such as racing and FPS, but also for reading, which lowers the screen brightness to reduce eye strain. Additionally, the monitor has a full custom stand, meaning it can rotate, tilt, and adjust the height. As for the price, it may be a bit overpriced (I got it for 250), but I think it's worth the money for a relatively budget and high-end upgrade.

Did you find this review helpful?As an FPS gamer, I wanted a powerful computer monitor. This particular monitor is definitely worth it. The image is flawless and it's user-friendly because it can be adjusted to any height you want (so it doesn't matter where you place it). Just note that it doesn't swivel diagonally or vertically. Close your eyes and just get it. I won't say anything else! For its price, it's the best you'll find in terms of quality and functionality.
The only downsides:
1) The speakers on top don't have great sound. Obviously, it doesn't have bass but it has too much treble, resulting in it sounding like you're playing loud music from a phone, although it's not that bad. It does the job. You won't watch an action movie from the monitor's speakers, but it's good for YouTube videos.
2) The power cable has a bulky transformer, which is relatively close to the monitor. That is, it doesn't reach the floor. You have to put it somewhere on the desk.That's it, guys... Get it, I would get 10 more if I had the money.
EDIT: It's been 2 years since I got it and I haven't had a single problem. (The power has gone out many times due to outages, but the monitor is still going strong!) Even today, I wouldn't change anything in my review. I bought it for 300 euros and I still feel like it was a super purchase, even though I see that it has dropped to almost 250 euros, which is an even better deal! Simply worth it!
