Really awesome vacuum cleaner. It sucks very strongly. Amazing build quality. I highly recommend it. After purchasing, don't forget to go to the BOSCH website and register the product with the s/n to get the 10-year warranty.
It broke in less than 5 months from the purchase... I have no desire to take it to the service, I am so disappointed. I have already bought another vacuum cleaner. It's just tragic that it broke in such a short time.
P.S. What's even more tragic is that the closest service for us in Voula is in... Aegina... Yes, you read that right. I will take a boat to go to Aegina for the electric vacuum cleaner... The next closest place is Oinofyta and Afidnes... It is, of course, the LAST Bosch product I will buy. They have service even in Kea but not in any central point in Attica... Whatever I write is not enough.
It is quite powerful. Sometimes more than I would like, to the point of sticking to both floors and carpets. Of course, you can adjust it with the intensity adjustment button, but you have to set it very low, which makes you think it doesn't pick up well. Other than that, it is a very good choice.
I will comment based on a) my experience with a Miele that cost around 200 euros which I had for 12 years (the predecessor of the current C3) and b) the use of the current one (for 4 months now).
Positives:
+ It has power, despite its "few" watts compared to the 2000-watt models of the previous decade.
+ The intensity adjuster on the handle has positive aspects and is useful if you need to change the intensity. In this vacuum, I think the adjuster is necessary (with the Miele, I can't say that something like this was needed - I vacuumed with a specific intensity that worked well on both carpets and tiles. Here, I needed to adjust it 1-2 times (or I haven't learned its tricks yet!)
+ It is relatively lightweight (compared to the 6-7 kg of the Miele I had. On paper, this is good. In practice, it seemed bad to me because it easily gets pulled along as you vacuum (especially in combination with the short spiral).
+ It indeed has a LONG cable - longer than the Miele.
Negatives:
- High up on the handle, there is a remote control (with 2 batteries) for starting/stopping and adjusting the intensity. In mine, this is problematic because the batteries have to be in a very specific position; otherwise, something shorts out or doesn't make good contact. I had to completely remove the battery cover for it to work, but now with jolts, the batteries may come out or it may need a little shake again to make proper contact. Here, the saying "the simpler, the better" applies. The vacuum does not start only with the switch on it. This essentially makes it capable of communicating with the remote control as it starts and stops from there.
- The spiral is short in length. This is a problem for me because with the slightest pull, you drag the vacuum behind you. My old vacuum had at least half a meter longer spiral. The short spiral helps with storage, but when vacuuming... I would like it to be a bit longer. It is also a bit stiff, and as you vacuum, you might drag things around you. In the old vacuum, the spiral was softer and "fell" down due to its weight.
- The Bosch nozzle has "hairs" in front and a rubber/plastic "blade" at the back. This complicates movement in both directions on a carpet, as the plastic blade gets stuck on the carpet fibers in one of the two movements, push-pull, and makes it difficult to find the right direction to glide over the carpet.
These three (especially the first two) are the most significant disadvantages I find.
Some other minor points:
- Collecting the cable requires you to bend down - it cannot be collected by stepping on it with your foot; you pull it a bit, and it unblocks. It collects well, though, and quickly!
- Being lighter and taller (and shorter in length) than my old one, it is more prone to tipping over when you drag it.
- I would like 1-2 more attachments (e.g., for mattresses or sofa fabric as well as a narrow tube for difficult spots).
- It does not have a release adjustment for when it gets stuck (because it has the + - on the handle). I think a release adjuster is more practical.
The noise depends on the intensity you use it at. It makes noise - it's a vacuum, it won't be silent!!!!
Without being a bad vacuum (it vacuums OK), I'm not sure if I would buy it again because of the 2-3 negatives I mentioned (hence the 4 stars).
2024-11-19: I removed two stars because its use is not what we call "smooth." The base has a brush only in the front and at the back, there is an elastic blade that gets stuck at the edges of the tiles if it falls parallel to the edge of the tile. The tube is made of hard plastic, relatively stiff, and with the movement back and forth, you have to be careful of the surrounding things. The batteries in the handle, while they are well placed inside, short-circuit somewhere and you have to take them out a bit to make proper contact. However, this way you can't close the lid, and I have to keep them without a lid. If the pole falls, you obviously gather batteries because they come out. Without the remote control of the handle, you can't operate it. Also, I can't find a good intensity. Where I operate it, it sticks and requires force to move the base. If I lower it one click, it becomes relatively weak. Finally, changing the bag, although theoretically easy, becomes a bit of a hassle due to a plastic protection for the vacuum hole (for when you remove it - it's good that it exists) that easily comes out of its position when you put the bag in, and then you search to find out what happened. I wouldn't buy it again!
Strong and quite effective with a good feeling during cleaning, while the handle located on the vacuum cleaner's pole makes it particularly user-friendly. However (!) its noise disappointed me, as I expected it to be much quieter. The pole also doesn't work well for corners and surfaces on furniture in general. Other than that, its construction is of good quality and at least visually appealing. So, it's good for its price, but not something extraordinary.
The vacuum cleaner is perfect!!! It has 4 attachments that you can use to clean sofas, carpets, floors, everything! It is definitely worth the money!!
The vacuum cleaner has been in my possession for the past 8 months. Apart from floors, it has cleaned carpets and rugs. First of all, we must praise the construction materials as it is mainly made of durable polymers and some metal parts. The coloring on these parts makes it stand out compared to a regular vacuum cleaner as it does not look unattractive. Now, onto the most important features: the power it provides is great, with a noticeable difference in absorption compared to the competition or the old Moulinex device that was in the house. In the first few days, I was impressed by how strongly it sucks even on thick handmade carpets, absorbing all the dust and dirt. Its operation is particularly quiet, even in turbo mode (so don't be afraid to vacuum at night or during quiet hours). Bosch, being a company that follows the motto "you get what you pay for," provides it with a cable length of over 2 meters, which is effectively wrapped internally. I will conclude with the accessories:
1) A general-purpose attachment with a switchable hard brush for floors, corners, and thin carpets.
2) Specialized attachment for carpets with rotating bristles for absorbing hair and small particles on heavily soiled carpets or for deeper cleaning.
3) An attachment for absorption in difficult areas and spaces, especially for shelves, closets, etc.
4) A simple plastic attachment with a large inlet, which I have neither used nor understood its purpose.
Overall, the best choice in this price range.
After researching for the purchase of an electric vacuum cleaner, unfortunately, I ended up with the Bosch BGL6POW1. My disappointment is great. From the first impression, the quality of it is noticeable, which is cheap plastic that we overlook. Let's talk about functionality. It has 3 attachments, the one that is for all uses is the worst due to poor design. It sucks onto the floor and you have to exert a lot of force to move it. Literally, it scrapes the floor, and not in a good way, meaning it doesn't clean well! The second attachment, which is for carpets, has some brushes that do the job, but as they rotate, they make a terribly annoying penetrating noise. Unfortunately, it is also the attachment that you can use for the floor because it moves smoothly. The third attachment is more or less indifferent. As for the noise, it is generally at a high level. These are the things I had to say for knowledge and compliance!
It is very powerful. The button on the handle is very user-friendly and the fact that you can adjust the suction power is even better! As a vacuum cleaner, it is lightweight and has a very long cord. It is not huge and can be easily transported! All the attachments are very useful for different tasks! I highly recommend it
Very powerful suction and good noise level........ Worth its money and I would buy it again...... If I had to say something negative, I would say that it doesn't have any side protection to prevent it from hitting furniture as you move around the space.
Compared to a Hoover 2300 watt from the 90s, I had doubts whether today's 850W would be satisfactory. It is excessively powerful - I would be satisfied even with 600W. The handle's control is fantastic. The build quality is superior to my previous vacuum cleaner. The vacuum is very lightweight and the accessories are excessively numerous. It is worth its money and more.

I have had the vacuum cleaner for about 2 weeks now. Initially, my first impression was that I made a mistake choosing it for 2 main reasons: the first and most important one was the attachments, and the second one was the power. The power seemed somewhat lower than my old vacuum cleaner (Philips Barcelona, 15+ years old) when I used it for the first time, but later on, I realized that this did not affect the result. The vacuum cleaner cleans the floors perfectly and leaves nothing behind (pet hair, etc.), I haven't cleaned the carpets yet, but the dust has significantly reduced in all areas. However, the attachments are a big issue. It has 3 floor nozzles and a multi-purpose brush, but it does not have the attachment for corners and the upholstery cleaning attachment, which are sold separately for 20-40€ depending on the attachment. If you want to clean a mattress or a sofa, it is not very easy with the attachments it comes with. Another disadvantage is the relative difficulty of the vacuum cleaner to follow while I am vacuuming, and this is due to the cord that does not release as easily as it should. The remote control on the handle is very convenient, as well as the handle itself. The multi-purpose brush is also convenient as it is stored on the handle and one just needs to remove the nozzle to use it immediately without having to attach it separately. Plus, the air during vacuuming is very clean. So, overall, the vacuum cleaner is very good if we overlook the issue with the attachments, although it is somewhat expensive if we consider the missing equipment.
