I don't need to write much. Overclocked CPU/Ram/GPU with 2xM.2 and 2xSATA drives. I have never had any issues with overclocking or temperatures. As for the RGB of the card.. beautiful and elegant.
Although I have been using it smoothly for a month, with a Ryzen 7 5800x, an EVGA 850 power supply, a Gigabyte RTX 3060, and 32 GB Corsair Vengeance RAM, suddenly one afternoon while I had the computer rendering (like every day), I found it restarting without posting. It reached the login screen, wrote "preparing automatic repair," and immediately restarted. The VGA LED was always on, but it stopped posting at some point. I tried everything - removing and changing RAM slots, trying different RAM, removing and cleaning the GPU pins, trying a different GPU, flashing the BIOS, removing and reinserting everything, resetting the BIOS to optimized defaults, and more - but nothing worked. The only thing I haven't tried yet is removing everything, including the processor, and doing a BIOS update from a USB with only the power supply and the 24-pin connector connected, as I saw in the comments that someone with similar problems was able to fix it that way. I will update, but even if it gets fixed, I have already ordered a new Gigabyte one. I use the computer for work and rendering, and if I fall behind for 2-3 days, I lose money...
Excellent motherboard and Asus warranty immediately enabled D.O.C.P and it seems reliable having gone through all manufacturers since I started dealing with it despite the issues I faced and the hassle. Unfortunately, like the kid below with the VGA light, I also had a problem. It wouldn't boot at all and made 4 beeps, so after spending hours, I managed to get it to boot with CSM enabled and having switched between PCI 4.0 slot and PCI 3.0, so I was good. Now, a year later, I decided to do a BIOS update, it wouldn't open at all, the same issues, and after a point, it made 4 beeps but entered the operating system without posting. Eventually, because I have a GTX 960 and it needed a firmware update NOT drivers, because it worked with HDMI while it was freezing with the display port. After the update, it works like a charm. One last thing for anyone trying to do a BIOS update (even to install a new unsupported processor without a compatible one) with the motherboard closed via BIOS USB port and the green light stays permanently on, check that your flash drive is FAT32 with MBR which can be done via diskpart OTHERWISE IT DOES NOT WORK. 1) cmd as administrator 2) diskpart 3) list disk 4) select disk X (where X is the number from the flash drive) 5) clean 6) convert mbr 7) create partition primary 8) select partition 1 9) format fs=fat32 quick and put the BIOS update inside the flash drive and rename it as Asus requires or with the .exe it has ready.

For anyone having issues with LAN, the latest drivers for INTEL I225-V and through the device manager go to the properties of the network card and select advanced there set the value to 2.5Gbps Full duplex and it works flawlessly
This is a very good construction am4 mobo, it has everything except for a type-c connector for the front ports that the case might have. It hasn't given me any issues for 4 months now, it recognized the 5800X3D immediately. The only thing I would like is an extra slot for M.2.
Unfortunately, after 10 months the lan is not working. I have tried everything that someone can try. I noticed that many people have the same problem. I have packed it for return and warranty. Buying and installing a PCI lan card is easy and I would do it if it was another motherboard of 50-60€.
I have been very satisfied because it was also Ryzen 5000 ready and did not require an update. I have had it for two days now and have not encountered any problems. The RAM memory I have synchronized with XMP without any issues. If any problems arise, I will come back.
Coming from the Asus Rog Strix B350-F and having been completely satisfied for 6 years, I trusted Asus again and upgraded to the B550-F. The motherboard came with the latest non-beta Bios and was ready for the 5600X I was planning to put on top. I should point out at this point that the motherboard supports Bios Upgrade via USB without a processor on top, so even if it came with an older Bios, I could upgrade it. The installation in the case was very easy, especially since Asus kept all the sockets in the same places as the previous model, so I didn't even have to change the cable routing... as one came out, the other went in.
The Bios is very user-friendly and with the same philosophy as the B350, so all the basic settings for RAM, CPU, GPU were done quickly. I tried 2 types of memory, my old CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 at 2x8 GB 3000 CL15 and the CMN32GX4M2Z3600C16 2x16 GB 3600 CL16. Both were immediately read by the D.O.C.P. and ran without any problems at the speeds they indicate.
The build quality is very good, as I have written before in a review of the B350, so I knew exactly what to expect. The positive thing is that unlike its predecessor, the IO Shield is now integrated on the motherboard, which makes installation a little easier, but mainly it won't be lost in future upgrades (those of you who have lost the IO Shield and wanted to sell or transfer the motherboard understand). The color is full black with minimal red details that are lost inside the case with all the other parts on top, so it is suitable for those who want a black build without colors. Compared to the B350, the RGB has been moved from the bottom right side (under the RAM) to the upper left side (left of the CPU as shown in the photo). Personally, I liked the old position of the RGB better and that's because if a tall air cooler is installed, it hides it. Those of you who install liquid cooling just ignore it... it's purely a cosmetic issue, I just mention it.
The Intel network controller it uses, which had issues if you search for it on the internet, worked on the first try as soon as I installed the driver without any problems or disconnections along the way, of course I didn't install the Asus Armoury Crate since it is said to possibly cause issues, something I didn't investigate further because I didn't need it anyway.
So we move on with Asus again in the build and time will tell if the B550 can satisfy as much as the B350, but the first impression is positive. Until the next upgrade, happy shopping!

Unfortunately, my experience with this specific motherboard is the worst. I upgraded my computer with this motherboard, CPU: RYZEN 5800X, GPU: RX 6700XT, RAM: 24 GB, PSU: TMX CORSAIR 850 W GOLD. After correctly installing all the parts of the computer (checked by a technician), I started to boot with a lot of problems.
Initially, everything was fine and I was able to enter the post directly, where I went to set the RAM to run at 3200 instead of the 2133 they were running at. After a restart, although the PC was working, I couldn't enter the post because it no longer synchronized the memories.
Here, I should mention that my previous motherboard, ASUS Prime XPro 370, synchronized them normally. After clearing the MOS and setting the memories again to their former speed, it started to work normally and connect to Windows after I closed the computer and formatted the hard drives. I then reinstalled the new Windows and everything worked well for an hour, after which I shut down the computer.
After this point, I haven't been able to enter the post again as the computer simply opens but doesn't boot. My motherboard indicates that it can't boot the computer. I have tried many things, such as updating the BIOS via flash disk, clearing the MOS, removing and reinserting the battery, but nothing works.
Now, I have taken it to a technician and am waiting for an update on what will happen, although I wasn't very optimistic as I have tried all possible corrective actions and they haven't fixed it. I saw online that many people had this problem with this motherboard and many processors, even though they are advertised as compatible. Most cases I saw were usually fixed after updating the BIOS, but many still didn't get anywhere.
Unfortunately, I see that I will have to go through the ordeal of returning it as this process will surely take many weeks. I will update as soon as I have information from the technician, but in my opinion, it's better to go for something else as this specific problem is common with this motherboard.
EDIT ***
Finally, the problem was solved by updating the BIOS via flash disk (for proper updating, disconnect everything from the motherboard as in my case when I updated the BIOS with the hardware inside, I didn't see any difference). The card on the rest promises to be a beast, but if you have another option, go there as updating the BIOS is a very tedious process.
I am satisfied with the performance of the system. Stable operation.
The motherboard may come to you with the problematic LAN chipset (from INTEL). BIOS update does not help. Only the purchase of an additional PCI LAN card. :(. Google it.
The motherboard is something else, but the only problem is that it says it has wifi but in reality it only has ethernet.
This motherboard is the most high-end you can get in such a chipset and I don't regret at all that I got it. It has excellent build quality and overall a wonderful implementation from Asus.

After some time, I decided to change my motherboard on my Ryzen 7 3700x computer.
I have to say that I didn't notice a huge difference with my previous motherboard. Of course, the quality and reliability of Asus, a very easy BIOS and easy installation. Overclocking to maximum capacity was very easy without the temperatures rising too much (50-60 degrees in full mode gaming). For the money available in 2020 at €200, I wouldn't buy it again. I would wait for the price to drop to at least €170. In my opinion, if the prices don't drop, there's no need to even get a B550. I'm eagerly waiting for the Ryzen fourth generation to come out to give you an update.
EDIT: I received the new RYZEN 5 5600X the day before yesterday. I overclocked it and I have to say, it's EXCEPTIONAL. I'm playing at 144 fps in all games on medium to ultra high! I highly recommend the motherboard!
