- My good speakers are ATC STUDIO MONITOR worth around ten thousand now, and I use them for the music I create and to listen to quality recordings. My ear knows very well what it hears. I got the Edifiers knowing what I was getting. They are extremely honest for their price, making the average ear happy. They play quite well and are fairly balanced. The bass/tweeter always depends on the speaker placement. On a relatively closed bookshelf, they have very good bass. Of course, they have a separate potentiometer for bass and treble. The 120W is the total of the 4 speakers, 35 + 25 for each speaker. They could play a bit louder, but it's not necessary because increasing the volume does not distort them. Simply put, they are not meant for a big party, nor are they intended for such use. They are made for relatively quality daily use.
- They connect via optical fiber and audio cable (2 inputs) and of course via Bluetooth. I play them via Bluetooth; they might sound even better with the optical, I don't know.
- Top-notch build quality, very beautiful, and a 5-meter cable that connects them. One speaker plugs into the outlet and has all the controls, while the other simply connects with one cable. The remote control is good too.
- 319 euros is not a small amount, but you get a ready-made amplified system that will last a very long time, with multi-connectivity that meets the acoustic aesthetic needs of 99% of people. 5 stars because if you want it to play louder and perhaps a bit better, you start from 1 thousand, and if you really want top sound quality, you are looking in the wrong place
Incredible speakers with very honest bass without even adjusting it from the back of the speaker (which is very user-friendly because it easily adjusts treble and bass). Very nice appearance and I had no problems with the setup.
Extremely high quality construction. Sturdy, heavy, nice finish and wood color.
The sound is crystal clear and precise. Very good mid and high frequencies. Low frequencies a little weaker, which is absolutely logical in a 2.0 system without an extra subwoofer. Nevertheless, absolutely sufficient. Quite strong volume for a living room of 30-50 square meters without distortions and unpleasant buzzing. You feel like you bought speakers three times their value. Absolutely satisfied.
Only with a few days of experience, I record my impressions:
Appearance, build quality is excellent. The brown wood and the "leather-like" black surface resemble a miniature premium audiophile speaker. Many inputs, 2 X Line in, 1 optical, 1 coaxial, Bluetooth. Control panel without illumination with the necessary buttons, nothing more is needed. Apart from the cables for connections (RCA & optical) and a 5-meter one for active-passive connection.
Sound (optical connection): Having hi-end reference speakers, I can say that their detail is excellent up to a critical volume point. Beyond that, clarity decreases and the sound becomes slightly muffled. Expected, of course, from a low-cost amplifier. However, they should not be judged with high standards. They are honest for the money they ask, easily covering a large indoor space (~30 m2) with very good mid-high resolution, up to a sufficiently high volume level.
Bluetooth: It connects easily without any glitches (the best I have encountered) with clear sound.
Negatives: A level indicator would be useful because the wireless volume is a bit blind.
