I have had it for a week now and I am very satisfied. With my old air conditioner (from 2000), it took at least 15 minutes to achieve ideal cooling in the same room that is now achieved in 5 minutes with the TCL. Plus , it dries up the air too much causing me dry eyes and headache. It reminds me my grandmother's a/c back in the 1988......
Plus it doesn't warm up properly.
In the other bedroom I have a mitsubishi a/c , installed 11 years ago , so rather old technology, and it is a million times better than tcl which was bought some months ago......Never again.

The air conditioner was purchased for 339 euros and has been in our possession for about 3 and a half years, installed in a bedroom. It has not shown the slightest sign of malfunction, and cleaning is done every year. We use it quite a bit in the summer even for sleeping and in the winter when it gets quite cold. The ionizer, ECO mode, and iFeel are always on. In terms of performance, we are satisfied with normal temperatures on the remote control in any season, while the building as a whole is old. The noise level is also quite low and does not disturb our sleep. The timer function is also useful, allowing you to set it to turn off automatically after 1, 2, or however many hours you want while you sleep. The bill always comes with a slight increase, although it is subjective how much you use it, how much the kilowatt-hour is at that time, etc. The important thing is that it really doesn’t consume much. It is definitely recommended, especially at its price.

It was purchased for 405 euros. I found it on the official website of the company. It really deserves much more. Perhaps the best "investment" I have made. In a moderately insulated room, it cools immediately. The room, because it has large windows and the sun hits it all day, becomes a "greenhouse". I thought the air conditioner wouldn't be able to "cool it down". And yet !!! Purchase of a 12,000 BTU (30 sqm) and a 24,000 BTU (80 sqm) in a detached house with only insulation (so there are significant losses). I installed them in spaces with higher demands than what the manufacturer recommends. I am generally satisfied with the value for money they offer, keeping the spaces consistently at 21 degrees - tested only for heating.

I proceeded to order another one. The store, like the others (with official dealership papers), has been waiting for the dealership to send them goods for 1 month now. We have had it here for a year now and we have been trying to figure out what's wrong with the TCL air conditioner because it displays e9 and P0 where we have it working. They came to see it and told us that it was a mistake from the technician who installed it (he was not their employee). a) They are not quiet at all (even in the supposed mute mode that claims to have only 19 dB).
b) They don't have many functions, both from the remote control and from the ones (wrongly) advertised by the stores. For example, they don't have horizontal movement of the blinds. They are fixed, and if you want to change the direction of the air permanently in the horizontal orientation, you have to manually move them by hand. (The irony is that the machine has a sticker from the company saying that it is dangerous to move the blinds by hand). Purchased on 7/21/2020. In ten days, a strong annoying noise started, as if the fan was hitting something. They came and fixed it. After six months, it showed an error code and stopped working. It has only been tested in cooling mode, and this evaluation pertains to that function only. Its performance is expected and fully covers the room. The most extreme condition it operated in was 38 degrees Celsius outside, and it performed very well. The plastic parts are of moderate to good quality and there are occasional creaking sounds, but they are not bothersome. The remote control is backlit and of moderate quality. The motor controlling the vertical airflow is extremely weak, resulting in slow movement and inability to operate smoothly in continuous motion. The fan is very good with several speed settings and the Turbo option, with moderate noise. The external noise is not bothersome, however, the internal unit, apart from the sound of the fan, also creates a noise that, from what I understand, comes from the cooling pipes, which is minimized in silent mode. Overall, it is noisy, although in silent mode things improve and you can sleep. In conclusion, I personally recommend purchasing this specific unit with a ceiling installation at a price (purchase and installation) around 370-380 euros, of course, for a small room. Before purchasing, research the warranty terms to take advantage of the 10-year coverage.
UPDATE: I also tried it in heating mode, and it was disappointing. The air it emits is slightly warm. It heats up the room, but it cannot be compared to other air conditioners that emit hot air.
