Bought it for 500€ a few months ago, and even now the phone is worth it. It doesn't lag and the battery lasts a whole day of heavy use. Two features that I like about the S series are the ip68 rating (I don't worry about water and dust) and the reverse charging. Awesome phone! Quite affordable for a Samsung flagship even today! Initially, I change phones quite often: android-iOS without being a 'fun boy', due to work. I have had the following: g4, s6, s7, s8- 6s, 11, 12. I kept this one for about 1.5 years until I got the iPhone 12 due to better battery life only!
Let's go to the positives of the phone:
1) Amazing large screen! Without a notch and with large bezels! Great blacks, impeccable quality in games and videos, etc. No comparison to the 12.
2) I was impressed by its fantastic camera (especially during the day). It has many settings, but I have it on auto and have no issues! (In terms of video, it lags behind the 12)
3) In terms of speed and lags, it never froze on me and worked like new!
4) Tremendous speakers!!! It sounds like a small Bluetooth speaker!! Huge difference compared to the 12.
5) 120hz screen, no comparison to 60hz (although it drains the battery faster, 8k video, which I had for the first time on a mobile phone (although I didn't use it much).
6) It has received Android 13 and receives monthly security updates.
7) Excellent microphone quality in calls, etc.
8) Good resale value.
9) It easily competes with 2022 devices.Negatives:

Coming from S8 and having it for already 2 years, I have to say that it's not worth going through the process of even considering changing it, as I am 98% satisfied and I never seek for 100% because there will always be something else... the phone is still fast in everything. The only negatives that I don't really take into consideration are the selfie camera and the battery that lasts a day with full usage. However, these are really negligible factors for me since it charges to 100% in 45 minutes. After 1 year of use, I deposit my experience by helping as much as I can.
I will start with the negatives and the first one is not the battery, it is the front camera at night in any resolution and under any lighting conditions, it is simply terrible...
The battery is the second negative of the phone, it doesn't last a day naturally in any case, whether you have it at 2k or 120 refresh rate.
The positive thing is that it charges very quickly with its charger, so I don't have a headache with that, but I constantly need access to a charger, which can be an issue if you work outside.
The third negative is the temperature of the phone, which even at -5, if you record a video or simply watch a video, it rises quite a bit.
Shall we talk about the positives?
It is a phone that costs almost €1000.
The screen, sound, speed, call quality, video and photo quality from the main camera are simply outstanding. After 1 year, the phone is still in a new condition without much care.
It is expensive, I bought it without VAT for €680, so I think it's okay at this price...

First of all, I should mention that my previous device was the OnePlus 6t and I have owned all the Galaxy S models except for the S4, S5, S7, and S10.
So, I decided to return to Samsung since I didn't want to wait for the OnePlus 8 Pro to come from China. I will first talk about the POSITIVES of the device.
-The device is quite lightweight for its size without making you feel like it's cheap. On the contrary, you feel like you're holding a premium device.
-The screen is excellent, with beautiful colors and great brightness. As for the 120Hz, anyone who has a mobile device with 120Hz or higher knows how amazing it is.
-Regarding the sound, the S20 has stereo speakers tuned by AKG and supports Dolby Atmos. I can say that it pleasantly surprised me as I didn't expect such good and high-quality sound.
-Something that many overlook but I consider very important is the haptics of the device. Until now, I haven't come across an Android device that matches Apple's Taptic Engine, but I can say that compared to the awful vibration motor of the OnePlus 6t, the one on the S20 is much better and overall very strong.
-As for the cameras, Samsung has done a great job with AI, and in Auto mode, one can take amazing photos with the S20. Overall, in every scenario, day or night, the cameras of the S20 have never disappointed me, and I consider them to be on the same level of quality as the iPhone 11 Pro.
-I consider the UI to be a completely personal matter, but overall, Samsung has done a great job and has incredibly many applications and services that make life easier.Now let's move on to the NEGATIVES.
-I will start by saying that in order to have 120Hz, the screen resolution needs to be FHD+ and not 2K, which in everyday life is not that important, but you do lose a bit in resolution.
-The phone heats up quite a bit. Especially if you use it in the summer (not necessarily under the sun) and simply send messages or watch videos, you feel like it has heated up without any particular reason.
-All of this is also due to the Exynos 990, which was not the best processor Samsung has released. It has generally received a lot of criticism, maybe even more than it deserved. Personally, I haven't experienced any issues with its performance (except for occasional overheating). I don't play heavy games, so I can't have an opinion on its graphics.
-In general, it is not the fastest phone on the planet. This may be due to the gestures and the graphics of Samsung's UI. It will definitely not feel slow or laggy, but personally, I would have liked it to be a bit more responsive.
-And now for the worst part. The battery. With moderate use and only on a Wi-Fi network, the phone barely gives you 5-5.5 hours of screen-on time. Now, if you're not on Wi-Fi but outside, with 4G, under the sun, and in heat, things become very difficult. The phone doesn't even last a day from 11 in the morning until 11 at night.
-Finally, in continuation of the battery life, there is also the slow charging. Inside the box, there is a 25W charger, which simply is not enough. A full charge from 0-100% takes 1 hour and 20 minutes. At a time when there are many cheaper phones on the market that charge in 40 minutes with 35 and 65w. Additionally, if you use the device while it is charging, it will take even longer to charge.In conclusion, I believe that the S20 Plus would be a very competitive choice at a price of 500 euros. It has many positive and good features, but also quite a few serious problems in my opinion. Also, currently in the market there are newer and better phones overall, at a price lower than the S20 Plus.

Within two days, I made an exchange with OnePlus 8 pro and I saved... an excessively superior device in every aspect and much better photo and video quality at night.... as for the Samsung with the MediaTek processor, it overheats no matter what you do, even if you just open Facebook it burns... the camera is not anything special... and now let's move on to the best part, it has a huge issue with screen dimming. Owner of the S20+ mobile since September 2020. This particular mobile was purchased for 670 initially, and sometimes we all know that it is one of the expensive mobiles on the market.
I can say that I am very satisfied (former owner of Samsung J5 2015, Samsung S7).
First, I will mention the build quality, which is a sturdy device, regardless of being slightly heavier than the other mobiles on the market at that time that I was looking for. The screen is one of its huge positives, with very beautiful colors, and not "burned" but impressive. Its 4K resolution is incredibly amazing, especially in movies (you can take advantage of it because it has a large screen), 120 Hz refresh rate at 2K (one negative thing I could find, there is no 120 Hz at 4K) as it makes the mobile smooth in videos, movies, social media, and everything in general, without straining the eye. However, this naturally has an impact on the battery. The battery could possibly be a little larger, as at 120 Hz it drains 20% faster and will last about 10-12 hours of usage depending on how someone uses it (I mainly use it for work, social media, movies, photos).
I hope I helped someone who is looking for reviews to buy it. For someone who has S10, it may not be worth upgrading to S20, but for someone like me coming from S7, the difference is obvious.Update 27/8/2022

At 650, I believe it's not easy to find an S series from Samsung with these features.
The screen is by far the device's biggest asset. Although it's a shame not to have the phone in max resolution, at 1080p with 120Hz, the experience is unparalleled, you simply forget about 60Hz... Brightness will never be a problem no matter where you are.
As for the camera, I think they went overboard with the advertising, as it is indeed fine, no issues with focusing and the image quality is excellent, but why only 12MP for the main camera? (look up why I mention 12MP for the main) If they had a 32MP main and 32MP telephoto, then the shortcomings would be 100% better. After a certain point, zooming distorts the image anyway. They probably just wanted you to hear 64MP as a title because it's not exactly the reality. For the selfie, if it's extremely important, go for the s20 FE as it is much better.
The speaker is amazing, I didn't believe a mobile device could sound so good.
Now, about the processor, it's stupid that we get a lower model, but with continuous updates, at least the overheating issues have almost been eliminated.
The only real issue is the battery, not only in the s20+ with its 4500mAh, but generally in the s20 series. After 3 and a half months of use, the average SOT is 7 hours, meaning with moderate to heavy use, it lasts a whole day with one charge. Don't expect more than a day with a 120Hz display.
The connections work perfectly with Samsung buds, Sony headphones, Samsung watch 3, soundbar, LG TV, and the powershare with the buds and watch is very useful.

I have it here for three months... I had the s9+ before, I wouldn't change it but the screen broke from a fall... it doesn't have a crazy difference, I can say... the battery lasts almost a day... it's fast. It doesn't freeze... 8GB of RAM is more than enough... the screen is very good, it's convenient to hold... at first, it used to get very hot with simple applications, like on YouTube when zooming in on the camera and in games. I thought it wouldn't withstand such high temperatures... but it was resolved with the updates fortunately... because it's not a small amount of money to fix it... it's not worth changing phones every 2-3 years at such prices. We've gotten used to them and they rip us off. They're going too far!

- THE LOVE TO HATE EXYNOS 990 -
Unpopular opinion: The Exynos 990 is a good processor. No, I'm not crazy, and I'm not saying this because of Samsung. For those who don't know, the damage to the chip is caused by the GPU. The Mali GPU that provides graphics to the Exynos is clearly inferior to the Adreno of the Snapdragon, resulting in lower FPS and higher temperatures in games. This will be proven in the collaboration between Samsung and AMD, where suddenly the Exynos will rise as a chip.
You might ask, why should I care? Am I getting worse results than the S20 with the Snapdragon? In everyday use, the difference is negligible. In games, definitely, so if gaming matters to you, go for the S20 FE 5G with Snapdragon/Adreno. In all other aspects, the S20+ is better than the S20 FE 5G, even with the Exynos 990.
- WILL I BOIL AN EGG ON THE S20+? -
No, I don't intend to drive crazy those who wrote about overheating issues. They existed. Past tense. After two consecutive updates in October, the phone is clearly cooler than ever. Extended use, multitasking, games, 8K videos. In some cases, you might feel it getting warmer, but within reasonable limits, just like with other phones. The excessive overheating issues are a thing of the past. You can search and check on technology sites to confirm what I'm saying.
- BATTERY FROM LIDL? -
To be honest and sincere with you, the Snapdragon variant offers about 10-15% more battery life, which translates to about 40 minutes of additional Screen On Time (SOT).
The battery is neither terrible nor flagship-level. In the photo I have attached, you can see the average times I get. More than 7 hours of SOT with 120Hz permanently set! The only intervention I made was to restrict some background apps. With 60Hz, the SOT would definitely increase, but it doesn't bother me. So, it's definitely not a battery to throw away.
- ANY COMPLAINTS? -
One complaint is that I would have liked the battery to be even better, considering that the competition (e.g., iPhone 11 Pro Max, Huawei P40 Pro) manages to last for two days without charging.
The other complaint is that Samsung should have found a way to offer 120Hz at the maximum resolution (WQHD+). The competition (OnePlus 8 Pro) has done it, and even with your own screens. So, it's possible.

I should note as a very negative aspect the increase in temperature sometimes and without reason. With a case, you don't feel it as much, but without one, it catches fire. That's it. As you currently have the S9+, there is no need to buy this, it will miss out on many things and there won't be any substantial improvement beyond the screen for the money you will spend
