The Mi Dual Mode is a wireless mouse with an ergonomic design and precise tracking at 1300DPI. It allows usage on two computers with the press of a button on the top, for switching between Bluetooth 4.2 and RF thanks to the included USB receiver (2.4 GHz).
Minimal noise to help you provide a quiet environment for everyone sitting next to you.
Two side buttons for forward or backward navigation, which enhance your productivity when using Windows 8 or later.
The ergonomic design fits perfectly in your palm. Lightweight and sturdy in size, it is user-friendly and portable. The UV color coating and granular texture on the side provide even greater comfort for everyday use.
Operates with 2 AAA batteries
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
If it mysteriously stops working and the lights turn red, etc., IT HAS NOT BROKEN! Keep both the left and right click pressed simultaneously for about seven seconds and it will reset.
Positive:
1. Although I prefer curved large mice, I was quite satisfied with this one despite its somewhat flat shape.
2. Very good response with the USB.
3. The purchase was cheap (but... the usage is expensive - I will analyze below).
Negative:
1. For those who use their computer for MANY hours daily, they should keep in mind that they will need new batteries every 20-25 days approximately.
2. The connection between the plastic parts is not the best, so despite its quiet keys, when you hold it tightly and press the mouse in certain points, it makes some annoying "crack" sounds.
3. The Bluetooth connection sometimes has glitches.
4. It fell from my desk to the floor once and although there was no external damage, it loses connection and doesn't always respond. It's my own fault, of course, but these things happen and unfortunately, this incident shows that it is not a quality product.
5. Xiaomi has even released smart shoes that connect with its programs, but for this mouse, it hasn't bothered to release a program that allows you to manage the functions of the side buttons, for example, or to see the battery level. The only way to see the battery level is to connect the mouse to the computer via Bluetooth and then go to the Windows Bluetooth settings. However, the battery level is not accurate and changes every few seconds, so one moment it shows, for example, 60%, then 65%, and then 54%. So, you can only see the battery level approximately.
Conclusion: For those who don't use their computer much and want a comfortable and quiet mouse, then this mouse is one of the best choices. However, for those who want a wireless mouse for MANY hours of use without having to change batteries frequently, and at the same time want it to be high-quality and not just functional, it might be better to consider other options.
It has no response at all and consumes batteries incredibly quickly. I do not recommend it at all. Especially if you use it for your work, it is completely unacceptable.
Value for money, silent, just enough for the palm, it takes a little time to get used to it, the side back button is quite far back from where I would like it. Decent mouse and cheap with the option to connect via Bluetooth
An simply amazing mouse!
Extremely comfortable even for long hours of use.
Completely silent, which helps the user and those around them.
Side buttons that are very user-friendly.
With one click, you switch the device you are using it with, which is fantastic. Very good connection both with Bluetooth and with USB, without interruptions.
Battery, I haven't measured how long it lasted and I don't even remember when I changed it, so the period is long.
Also, it has been stuffed with cables in the laptop bag and hasn't suffered any damage. Only, after the umpteenth "fall" it took and after 3+ years of daily use, the scroll wheel broke.
I bought the same one again!
For 11-12 euros, get it with your eyes closed!!
Excellent for the money. Obviously, the build quality is not the best but perfect for simple use.
The cover at the bottom for the batteries doesn't fit well after a while. In use, it is perfect and silent
value for money 100%. indeed silent and very lightweight. I bought it a second time and the first one I had for about 4 years. I will buy it again
"This is an excellent wireless mouse, with very good responsiveness and ergonomic design. Its battery life is impressive, and it connects immediately without issues. It is definitely worth the purchase, especially for its price!"
It worked fine for the first month, then there were connection issues because it would disconnect (I only use it via Bluetooth and for work several hours), it needs a battery change very often, maybe even twice a month. For its price, it's a decent but poor mouse.
Good and quiet mouse for its price. I have bought three, and after a few months (under a year) the left button doesn't work properly. I got switches from the internet and I replace them every time they break.
While it is lightweight, easy to hold, and from a good company, after a while it lost responsiveness to presses. There are times when I have to press the button 2 or 3 times for it to respond. Also, the plastic on the back that secures the batteries broke almost immediately. The result is that I have to work without it, having to reposition the batteries during the day when they loosen or constantly search for them in my bag. Unfortunately, a bad purchase.
Very good mouse. I have two, one black and one white. For amateur use or office use, it is excellent. The switch from BT between two computers is also very good. Quick change and always successful connection. Recommended.
It works perfectly for 3 years now. Problem-free. It has a small size. Great for simple use. Just what you need for a laptop
Unfortunately, after 3 years the axle of the washer broke, so it is completely useless. It's going to the trash. Nevertheless, I would buy it again because it is cheap. But it is not very durable.
The best mouse out there...cheap and user-friendly...my previous one lasted 3 years...I obviously bought the same one again
Great little mouse, silent and soft, value for money. Mine started to glitch and lose connection after a year, but my daughter has also taken its eyes out by banging it when she loses in her game. I got a second one for more normal use.
Very good feel to the clicks which are silent. Easy pairing with Bluetooth on Debian Linux and seamless switching between 2 computers, one with the dongle and the other via Bluetooth. The construction is the expected classic plastic, but it doesn't bother in use or feel. The size is something between a classic desktop mouse and mini (larger than mini, a bit smaller than desktop). Lightweight in use. Value for money.
The mouse has both Bluetooth connectivity and a small dongle for wireless connection. It is truly silent and glides quickly
Very good mouse, it simply does its job correctly. I have used it only with Bluetooth on laptops, I haven't tried it through the USB (RF) adapter it comes with. However, you should know that using a mousepad is essential. If you don't have one, definitely get one, as it does not work well on any other surface (from not at all to interruptions that hinder precise movements), but even the mousepad should be dark in color, without any design on it. Otherwise, even on a light-colored mousepad or one with designs on it, it has issues. I didn't have this problem with any other mouse, it's a peculiarity of this specific one.
If you switch it to Bluetooth mode, it doesn't change back to USB mode. Overall, it's a good choice.
First contact: just fine, silent, easy to connect to two devices and switch with one button, no problem moving the cursor even on a glossy white desk. (The shape seems uncomfortable, but I had no issues and generally don't have problems like tendonitis, carpal tunnel, etc.) In my hands, it worked seamlessly whether on one or two devices, whether with USB or Bluetooth! The switching is very fast and without disconnections or freezes. I have the version with the two small batteries and the round cover. A little problem with the lower round cover that doesn't fit very well and falls off at the slightest touch, but it can be solved by wedging something in between, or if it simply lives on the desk... HOWEVER! in less than 1 year, the scroll wheel started doing its own thing and now you can't scroll without getting frustrated. What a shame
Interesting little mouse. Good in the grip, lightweight, with 2 sources (one with its dongle and one Bluetooth) so it can connect to two devices, with a push switch under the roller.
Good purchase so far.
I wanted it for a Raspberry because the heavy Microsoft mouse (along with the keyboard) was very slow on Ubuntu 24.10 Linux on Raspberry Pi 4.
It did a good job and I'm using it elsewhere now with the dongle
This is the second one I'm getting, which now takes 1 AA battery and its cap is snap-on and doesn't open for no reason, although I don't have a problem with the previous model I still have, and the battery cap twists to the left to open. It's a great mouse for office work; I use it with BT so I don't occupy a USB port. It loses one star because it's quite flat and takes some time to get used to.
It’s a dud, it has no accuracy in movements, it’s slow to respond.. It’s not suitable for gaming at all... The buttons are silent
The only problem is that the battery cover underneath opens easily and often. Other than that, very good.
Very good mouse, after 4 months of long use it works perfectly, the one star deduction is due to the not so good quality of materials.
UPDATE: I should add that the main use is via USB, I haven't used it much with Bluetooth.
The battery lasts about 3 months (50 hours of weekly use, the model I have requires 1 AA battery)
Honest for its price mouse. Silent buttons, good tactile feel. Its size is good for medium palm, the equivalent in price Logitech M171 is smaller without side buttons. In response and cursor accuracy, it suffers a bit. The Bluetooth adapter that is stored inside is a bit difficult to remove. It requires 2 AA batteries.
After a while, it practically doesn't respond, and the bottom cover keeps coming off. For the money, it's okay, but I would say spend a little more for something that will last
I have it for 2 days, silent, wireless, works everywhere, I didn't find a place where it doesn't work. For 10 euros it's a steal.. it's somewhat low I would say it doesn't have a big curve like most mice but it's also a matter of habit, for gaming it logically doesn't work and it can't be compared to something like a 100€ razer, you get what you pay for.
It occasionally gets stuck. However, the circular cap underneath keeps coming off and it stops making contact.
Everything is good, but the battery cover is very loose and sometimes it comes off by itself in the bag. The battery life and connectivity are very good. The dual function is excellent as well.
