"Kill all the mockingbirds you want, if you can hit them, but remember that it is a sin to kill a mockingbird."
This is the advice of lawyer Atticus Finch to his children, as he decides to defend in court the true "mockingbird" of this wonderful story, a young black man...
Through the eyes of Scout and Jem Finch, Harper Lee explores with undeniable honesty and boundless humor the absurdity of adult attitudes towards racial and social discrimination in the American South of the 1930s.
The seemingly serene and peaceful Maycomb of Alabama is in reality steeped in prejudice, violence, and hypocrisy. But the town's dormant conscience will be shaken by the courage of a man fighting for justice...
One of the most beloved novels ever written, "To Kill a Mockingbird" is among the most esteemed classic works of modern literature. It has won many accolades, including the Pulitzer Prize, has been translated into over forty languages, and was successfully adapted into a film in 1962 by Robert Mulligan, in a "classic" movie starring Gregory Peck.

I couldn't finish it... I only reached page 140 and that was a struggle. Incredibly boring, it provides pointless information and lacks any action to keep your interest.
Overpriced in my opinion. The story starts in the middle of the book and has many unnecessary details. Despite that, it delivers a strong message to the readers.
Without exaggeration, this book is a small masterpiece and perhaps my favorite. Well-written, vivid characters, great meanings conveyed through the innocent gaze of a little girl. Atticus is the father every child would want to have! The author's alter ego, Scout, describes an idyllic childhood in the American South during the Great Depression of the 1930s.
A masterpiece of classic literature, a beautiful gift for your bookworm friends. Five stars and few are for this book
I have read hundreds of books and this one didn't come into my hands even though I knew about it... eventually, I bought it and it is a masterpiece.
You read it very easily because the story captivates and mesmerizes you.
I highly recommend it.
The messages it conveys about racism are constant and you easily connect with the characters
I bought it after reading very good reviews on Goodreads.com.
Very bad for nothing. Monotonous, without a particular plot, without any particular conflict, except only in the last 5 pages out of the book's 380, which even this last conflict was ultimately a joke.
Almost a waste of time. Read something else better.
