It lasted only 2 years for me. From the moment I received it, within 3 months the screen stopped working and had to be replaced. There was no issue with that because they immediately sent me a new one (although in a different color than what I had purchased). Overall, its calculations are a bit off and it inaccurately records steps during bus or car rides. Additionally, I had to replace the strap twice as it kept getting cut from the buckle's opening and closing. Within the 2 years, the screen broke again and now I can't use it or replace it, so it's useless.
Although it looks nice at first glance, considering its price and the basic fitness metrics it offers, I do not recommend it. There are much more affordable trackers with better performance and quality.
I bought it last December, it was fine for my needs but after 11 months the connection that you put the strap broke, there is no way to replace it so it simply becomes useless. Hundreds of people in the company's community experienced the same, it's a shame...
The specific product is not worth its money at all...
1) The GPS is unacceptable, you have to be at Syntagma Square, for example, to catch you accurately, and when you go for a run, it loses a lot compared to the mobile's GPS. So it's useless.
2) The screen is always off and to activate it, you have to "feel" that movement we make to see the time on our watch. Well, the sensor that detects when we want to see the time is bad and 6 out of 10 times it doesn't work, so you have to press the button on the side to activate the screen.
3) The heart rate monitor is TERRIBLE at accurately detecting heart rate fluctuations, so those of you who do HIIT training, just stay away.
4) The screen is BLACK AND WHITE (COME ON, IT'S LIKE WE'RE IN 1990), and the touch sensitivity is not that good.
In general, it's not worth even 50 euros. Just go straight to GARMIN or if you want something cheap that's worth its money, go for the mi band 5-6 from xiaomi.
I replaced the Charge 3 with this Charge 4 and it works as expected. The battery life is very good and the strap fits well. It is also water-resistant. It provides very accurate measurements and sleep analysis. I highly recommend it!
It is completely unreliable. It counts steps when I sleep, when I drive, when I sit at work, and when I write on the computer. And we're not talking about a few steps, so the difference is negligible. For example, yesterday afternoon from 14:00 to 17:00 when I didn't get up from my office chair at all, it recorded about 250 steps, while this morning when I woke up it said I had taken 188 steps while sleeping. I am very disappointed with this purchase.
Several years owner of the Fitbit Charge series (2,3,4). With this particular version, I encountered many connectivity issues from the beginning. Along the way, it started losing signal in GPS while sitting still. In the end, it crashed and I returned it.
Although it has significantly improved in measurements, I believe that the device has fallen a bit behind for the money it asks for. Notifications didn't always play. Also, the screen brightness is not very good in the sun. Finally, the charging adapter is mediocre-unacceptable. They missed adding a magnetic adapter.
On the positive side:
+ Accurate measurements
+ Number of sports
+ Automatic exercise recognition
+ Built-in GPS
+ Battery
+ The application and overall user interface of Fitbit.
For those who desire a relatively minimal aesthetic, monochrome screen, and the functions of a very good tracker with built-in GPS - and many more - it is a very good choice. Easy installation, lots of information and analysis in the Fitbit app on your mobile. The positives include its long battery life (5-7 days), its waterproof feature, and this model has Spotify control as well as the ability to add a credit card for contactless payments.
Easy installation. Great improvement from Charge3
