  It's good as a sponge, but:
  1) it almost immediately detached from the plastic base (as others have mentioned in the comments)
  2) very expensive without any particular reason. You can achieve the same result with the company's classic yellow sponges
  3) the handle didn't work well for me on the sides with a low profile (car), so it stays a bit at the bottom unglazed or you have to move the car and do it
  4) my hands always get dirty and it drips on the rims, so I end up using a cloth at the same time to collect the drips

  Overall, I don't believe it offers anything more than a simple yellow sponge.

  Positive:
  1) The sponge appears to be quite durable in terms of quality.
  2) The handle and the case are made of high-quality plastic.

  Negative:
  1) The sponge detached from the handle after 3-4 uses, as it had minimal silicone to hold it.
  2) The handle is not gripped easily enough to apply more pressure to the tire shine, and the hand gets dirty several times, which is supposed to be protected by the handle.
  3) Depending on the wheel and tire, it is difficult to apply the tire shine in certain areas near the wheel, as the handle reaches the wheel and the sponge does not easily reach the desired points.

  While I am quite satisfied with the Meguiars tire shine, unfortunately, I was not satisfied with the application sponge.
  It's a shame because the materials seem quite high-quality and durable, but not their connection.
  If it does not stick with silicone to stay in place, I will look for another application sponge.

  Its handle is made of hard plastic that doesn't break easily and the sponge (besides being black so it doesn't show when it gets dirty) is soft and can touch the entire surface but also durable, it hasn't torn or come off the base.

  Now, for seven and something euros... on one hand, I recommend it, but on the other hand, you can do the same job with a green sponge from the supermarket. You pay for the brand twice.
