  Today, my first encounter with an e-reader arrived. Flawless, incredible clarity, fast. I won't say more because everything has been said, it's worth the money and more. I've been struggling with tablets and mobiles for e-readers for years. With just one day of use, all I have to say is that it's like day and night.

  My first reader that I have for a few days now so I have no point of comparison. Convenient, lightweight, reads epub nicely (you can choose font, change size, line spacing, etc.). Good stuff, as previous users have said. I am torn between giving it 3 or 5 stars because of the following main issue for me: The dictionaries are lacking. It has an old English-English one and a few language combinations that don't concern me. Practically, I don't see a way for the average user to find/buy/download/convert a dictionary of any language into Greek. Their service refers me to the Bookland store where, of course, there are no Greek dictionaries. I would be very happy if someone could correct me but... other than that, as I expected. It also plays audiobooks like mp3 and other formats.
  EDIT 20/3: I installed an English-Greek general use dictionary with great difficulty. Let's not be unfair to the device...

  Lightweight and comfortable device. It reads and customizes epub files very well.
  As for pdf files, it reads and rotates them quite comfortably. Some didn't require me to do anything at all. Some others were impossible to read without conversion through calibre or another application. It depends on the format and condition of the pdf.

  The majority of my books are in pdf format. With a few clicks of conversion (or using the K2pdf application), I have a very good and easy-to-read result.
  These devices are meant for reading books comfortably, not for browsing and surfing the internet.

  Reading books: ereader
  Everything else: tablet
  Battery life is very good and long-lasting. Reading with or without lighting is also very good and comfortable. File transfer can be done in any way that suits each person: email, cloud, cable.
  A gadget that is worth its money, and you enjoy every time you finish a book.

  UPDATE almost 2 years later:
  The device's battery is as good as the first day. Knowing applications like K2pdf/calibre/Koreader very well now, there is no chance that I won't be able to read any book I want.
  The other great advantage of ereaders is the space you save in your home library.
  Whether you choose this device or another one, it is an excellent aid for reading books.

  Γενική εντύπωση:
  H πρώτη μου επαφή με τα Pocketbook ήταν το Touch Lux 4, το οποίο το αγάπησα όσο τίποτα. Ήταν ένα από τα καλύτερα δώρα που έχω κάνει στον εαυτό μου. Τον Ιανουάριο του 2021 λοιπόν, αποφάσισα λοιπόν να αποχωριστώ το Luxάκι και να πάω ένα βήμα παραπέρα. Έτσι αγόρασα το Touch HD3. Εννοείται ότι το λάτρεψα όσο το προηγούμενο κι ακόμη περισσότερο, μιας και α) έχει οθόνη καλύτερης ανάλυσης, β) έχει καλύτερο και πιο ξεκούραστο φωτισμό και γ) παίζει audiobooks. Το διάβασμα είναι ακόμα πιο ξεκούραστο, πάντα χωρίς αντανακλάσεις και χωρίς να πονάνε τα μάτια. Αυτά χάρη στην οθόνη που θυμίζει χαρτί και το frontlight (+SMARTlight) που κάνει το διάβασμα τη νύχτα απόλαυση.

  Τρόποι μεταφοράς αρχείων:
  Οι τρόποι για να μεταφέρεις τα βιβλία σου σε αυτό είναι οι ίδιοι με του Touch Lux 4
  Μπορείς να δημιουργήσεις λογαριασμό στο pbsync και να τα στέλνεις απευθείας σε αυτό μέσω email.
  Ή αν θες μπορείς να δημιουργήσεις cloud folder (Oh yes!) στο DropBox ή στο Pocketbook Cloud και να τα πετάς εκεί μέσα. Τα αρχεία συγχρονίζονται απευθείας στο ποκετμπουκάκι, κάθε φορά που αυτό συνδέεται στο ίντερνετ.
  Μπορείς ακόμη και να συνδεθείς στο αγαπημένο σου κατάστημα από τη συσκευή, να αγοράσεις το βιβλίο και να το "κατεβάσεις" κατευθείαν στο ereader. Δεν θα το πρότεινα εκτός κι αν είσαι εντελώς Ζεν άνθρωπος. Εγώ που είμαι "ζεν σέλω άλλο" άνθρωπος, προτιμώ ότι κάνω να το κάνω γρήγορα.
  Τέλος, αν είσαι σπηλαιάνθρωπος και δεν τα πας και καλά με τα διαδικτυακά, σου έχει και λύση "μανιβέλα" για να το φορτώσεις βιβλία: Καλωδιάκι, πισάκι, ποκετμπουκάκι. Τα συνδέεις μεταξύ τους και μεταφέρεις από το ένα στο άλλο εύκολα και γρήγορα.

  Αποθηκευτικός χώρος:
  Το PB Touch HD3 έρχεται με εσωτερικό αποθηκευτικό χώρο 16GB, o οποίος είναι υπέρ το δέον αρκετός. Για να καταλάβετε, αυτή τη στιγμή έχω στο δικό μου πάνω από 1000 βιβλία και δεν έχει ξεπεράσει καν το 1GB. Κι αν τα έχεις στο cloud όπως εγώ, δεν έχεις και κίνδυνο να τα χάσεις. Έχεις μόνιμο backup! ;-)

  Μπαταρία:
  Το έχω πολύ λίγο για να είμαι βέβαιη για το πόσο κρατάει η μπαταρία αλλά αν σκεφτεί κανείς ότι το παρέλαβα στις 11/02/21 (σχεδόν φουλ φορτισμένο) και μια εβδομάδα ακριβώς μετά, με καθημερινή χρήση, το βράδυ με αναμμένο τον φωτισμό, η μπαταρία δεν έχει κατέβει παρά μία γραμμούλα, θα πει ότι η μπαταρία είναι "σκυλί"! Πλην αυτού, o πρότερος έντιμος βίος του Touch Lux 4, θέλει την μπαταρία να κρατάει από 1 μήνα και πάνω. ;-)

  Λοιπά πλεονεκτήματα:
  Άριστη ισορροπία ποιότητας και τιμής αγοράς
  Υπέροχη, βελούδινη αίσθηση στο άγγιγμα
  Εκπληκτική οθόνη τεχνολογίας Capacitive (multisensor) 1448Χ1072 pixels, 6" E-Ink Carta
  Έχει θύρα με χρήση micro USB adapter και Bluetooth, για την ακρόαση audio-books και μουσικής!
  Είναι αδιάβροχο (IPX 7)!!!
  Έχει built-in store αλλά με ξενόγλωσσα βιβλία
  Μπορείς να ανεβάσεις ή να κατεβάσεις την φωτεινότητα και την θερμότητα του φωτός κατά το δοκούν
  Έχεις πληθώρα ευανάγνωστων γραμματοσειρών για να επιλέξεις ποια σου αρέσει. Μπορείς ακόμα και να προσθέσεις δικές σου
  Αυξομείωση του μεγέθους της γραμματοσειράς
  Καλή απόκριση στο γύρισμα σελίδων, είτε με την αφή, είτε με τα κουμπιά
  Μπορείς να ορίσεις τα λευκά περιθώρια της οθόνης
  Στα βιβλία κρατάει σημειώσεις, αποκόμματα ή επισημάνσεις
  Βάζει σελιδοδείκτη αν θες αλλά ούτως ή άλλως, όταν το ανοίξεις ξανά, θα το βρεις στην ίδια σελίδα που το άφησες.
  Γεφυρώνει μπρος-πίσω τις υποσημειώσεις με link κι έτσι δεν ψάχνεσαι (αρκεί να έχει από την κατασκευή του το ebook ενεργοποιημένα τα links)
  Σύνδεση με DropBox και Pocketbook Cloud

  Είναι συνδεδεμένο με το ReadRate αντί του Goodreads

  Αν σκέφτεσαι να προχωρήσεις σε αγορά ενός e-reader, μην παραλείψεις να αγοράσεις μαζί και μια θήκη για να το προστατέψεις από τις πτώσεις.

  Τέλος, θα ήθελα να πω ότι το support της Pocketbook είναι εξαιρετικό με άμεση απόκριση σε οποιοδήποτε θέμα σου προκύψει.

  Για ότι παραπάνω θα επανέλθω με update.

  The Pocketbook is basically the best brand of ebook reader. I bought the Touch HD3 to replace the HD2 that I had and which I gave away in excellent condition. I highly recommend the Pocketbook Touch HD3 without reservation. Perfect product!
