Some repetitions were deemed necessary in order to achieve as much "autonomy" as possible in the presentation of each personality. Information about them is not provided from all available sources, as not all of them add anything more than what is presented here for each fighter.
Information and data are provided that concern the presented individuals as a whole, and they are supplementary - demonstrative of my positions, with many pieces of evidence that are being published or used for the first time in historical research, such as documents from 1835.
I avoid constantly referring to the sources in this narrative and writing, because I believe that even so, it is no less convincing to the reader, nor more vulnerable to malicious "criticisms"... from well-intentioned or forgers of our history. However, whatever is said and written here is accompanied by supporting evidence. Anyone who claims something different must provide old supporting material that presents things differently. Because this study reveals facts and situations that are not overturned or questioned for their validity, as they are based on primary ancient sources.
My long journey in studying this important subject - and its completion with this work - is a small token of gratitude to all those who fought or sacrificed for a free and independent motherland, Greece.
