The previous vacuum cleaner I had (Izzy b 8085 8.4V) was a total disappointment and honestly, it couldn't even handle the smallest debris! So, after doing some research and considering my own experiences, I decided to buy a new one. I was looking for an 18V vacuum cleaner to ensure its power, but after reading reviews and considering other options, I realized that vacuum cleaners with built-in batteries are not worth it. In just two years, they lose their performance and replacing the battery costs as much as buying a whole new vacuum cleaner! That's why I ended up choosing the Einhell, mainly because of the positive reviews and also because I found a battery set (2.5Ah) with a charger for only 25 euros, which was cheaper compared to other options.
According to the manual, with the 2.5Ah battery, the vacuum cleaner has a power output of 750W. With the 4Ah battery, it reaches 900W. So, with the 2.5Ah battery, the vacuum cleaner is powerful. However, it's important to note that it's powerful for a vacuum cleaner, but obviously it can't be compared to an electric vacuum cleaner with similar wattage!
The extension tube is very convenient because you can clean larger surfaces without straining your back. Its length, including the extension tube, is approximately 95 centimeters. It has a couple of attachments and also comes with a wall mount. It has a sturdy construction and doesn't feel fragile or low-quality despite its price!
The battery lasts easily for 10 days with daily use (although its performance decreases as the charge level decreases, it's still powerful). I use it mainly to clean up the mess my little one makes, from crumbs to larger pieces, hair, and anything else! It even works exceptionally well on carpets!
Based on my experience with battery-powered tools, I believe the battery will easily last for 3-4 years. If the vacuum cleaner also holds up for that long, then we're talking about a top-quality product.
But here comes the removable battery into the conversation. Even if the vacuum cleaner breaks, you can buy a new one for 30 euros. If the battery fails, you can replace it for 15 euros. So, potentially, the future cost could be much lower compared to someone with a vacuum cleaner with a fixed battery.
I have been using it for a month now!
Overall, it cleans relatively well and quickly dust, while it struggles with other things.
With the 18V 4Ah battery, you can work for less than an hour.
One disadvantage is that the handle is short and if you are 1.75 meters or taller, you will have to bend down.
And the second is that due to lack of power, it does not suck up small pebbles stuck in car carpets or rugs, nor pet hair that has fallen on sofas and carpets.
So I would say it is mainly suitable for dust.
If you want something powerful, I would not recommend it under any circumstances.
Unfortunately, it does not have the absorption I was looking for, and for holes in the ceiling where I wanted to use it, the filter does not have good sealing and dust escapes from the motor!
The machine flies!!
I use it fully at home, the boys in the house will especially appreciate it
The purpose of purchase is the interior cleaning of the car. It does not have sufficient power to remove all the dirt. Otherwise, it is easy to use.
It definitely doesn't replace the classic vacuum cleaner, but for the crumbs that the kids constantly make, it's very convenient. The battery is sold separately, so budget another 25 for the cost.
The first impressions are positive.
I will return after 60 days.
PERFECT PRODUCT
Definitely get it, there is nothing like it. It frees you up. Immediate access at any time without wires or anything. Lightweight (I actually use it with the heavy battery and I am still completely satisfied.
Perfect case that does not require charging directly to a socket but a combination of charger/battery. Very good duration in daily and intense use and very fast recharging.
The fact that if the battery performance drops, you only change that and not the whole vacuum cleaner is a big deal. Absolutely satisfied with the small battery so I will buy the large one, which although it will add weight to the vacuum cleaner, has a good balance in the hand.
One of the best vacuum cleaners, I got the first one years ago and I still have it and it sucks like new. The biggest advantage, of course, is the removable battery. Most vacuum cleaners struggle with the battery, and if it's not removable, then as soon as its performance drops, it's for the trash. I got the first vacuum cleaner with a 2ah battery and I used it as a substitute for a regular vacuum cleaner (with its nozzle) and I was impressed with its performance and runtime. I got the second one for a professional space with a 4ah battery and it lasts even longer. (I use it almost daily and it needs charging every other week)
Very good! I highly recommend it.
The battery is purchased separately, I got it from somewhere else.
But awesome!
I would like it to be more beautiful or to be available in another color. This is the third one I have purchased. The first one stopped working at some point, but it was within the warranty period and I was able to return/exchange it.
The small battery makes it lighter.
It charges very quickly.
The extension is very convenient. I can go all around the house, and especially for pet hair, it's great! For sofas and fabrics, it's better to use the velvet spatula.
Tip: Do not wash the filter, it's better to shake it on the balcony. When washed, the filter shrinks and doesn't protect as well. It's also good to occasionally vacuum the dust from the base with another vacuum cleaner. Enjoy using it!
vfm is worth it. Powerful and user-friendly. Okay, you can't really say it's great for carpets, I have pets... but for everyday use and the car, it does everything. The build doesn't give the impression of being very sturdy, but it gets the job done. I'm 1.85m tall, but okay, I don't bend over like others say
Powerful and user-friendly. For longer duration, get a bigger battery, which however makes it heavier.
6 months of daily use. It is powerful and does the job well as promised. It is worth its money
Very good vacuum cleaner. I recommend combining it with an 18v 4 Ah battery. It can be used with a bag or directly collecting in the bin. The suction is satisfactory considering its size. The transportation is easy as it is relatively lightweight. Note that the extended warranty provided by the company does not apply to Greece. It is preferable to choose an official representative for the purchase.
I have it for years. I have bought a second battery and when one is discharged, I put the other one. I am very satisfied
It is a very good vacuum cleaner, but after 1.5 to 2 years the motor breaks down and it doesn't work. I have bought two of them and both had the same problem, that's why I gave it 3 stars.
I bought it because I saw that the world of skroutz preferred it and I was not disappointed. It is very powerful (no comparison with the classic weak kitchen vacuums) and since I got it, the big vacuum cleaner has not come out of the closet again.
Recently, the pointed nozzle for the corners was lost and a quick search on the internet for spare parts did not yield results. Eventually, I went to the official website of the dealership and ordered it with 10€ shipping
The best purchase for a vacuum cleaner of this type, we have bought 5 so far for ourselves, our parents, and our friends. Simply excellent, combine it with a 3 or 4ah battery. It is 100 times better than the equivalent Bosch one I had before. Stay away from liquids!
It doesn't suck, it's difficult to clean the filter, the Power x charge series is very good, this particular one is useless because it obviously doesn't have good power. I say all of this calmly
It is quite convenient that it has a removable battery, as well as a set of materials to "replace" a small electric broom. But that's about it. The construction quality is below average, as the on/off switch starts sticking before closing time. It is probably heading towards replacement. Also, the 2.5Ah battery is not sufficient. Prefer the 4Ah one.
The handheld vacuum cleaner is reliable. I bought it mainly for the car but I also use it at home. It collects dust and small debris perfectly, it is quite powerful. I would say it collects about 70-80% of pet hair, for the remaining 20-30% you need a roller.
The biggest drawback is that it doesn't come with a battery and charger, so essentially, with the (mandatory) purchase of those, the total price that someone has to pay is doubled (~80 euros, July 2023).
It is better than I expected. Powerful and with good battery life. The bin empties and washes very easily. The battery charges quickly. With the extension and the floor brush (which is quite small in size), it replaces the large vacuum in most cases. It easily collects cat hair. For 39+21 euros, I consider it an excellent purchase.
Strong and can easily replace a large broom in everyday house cleaning. The battery has lasted for 2 years of daily use and its performance is still satisfactory. After 2 years, the motor broke down and I bought a second vacuum cleaner without a battery. I opened the first one to see what was wrong and discovered that very fine dust was getting through and clogging the two filters it had. As a result, it was not functioning at its maximum performance and the motor was struggling. Unfortunately, I also discovered after a month that the new one had also filled up with dust and formed a thick layer of dust on the filters, so now I open it (unscrew) once every two months and clean those areas.
Obviously, it is a powerful vacuum cleaner. No comparison with the "kitchen" vacuum cleaners that are only good for crumbs (if even that). Good build quality. Very good accessories (3 attachments). A small extension wand and 3 different nozzles.
A positive aspect is that the battery is external, so if it breaks after some use, you just replace... the battery and not the whole vacuum cleaner!!! This is essential because so far I have wasted 2 Black & Decker Pivot vacuums, which were powerful indeed, but in 2 years our batteries said goodbye and the cost of replacement was close to the cost of the entire device.
I prefer to pay 20 euros for a battery replacement after 2 years rather than 90 euros for the whole vacuum cleaner.
A major downside is the weight of the external battery. No matter what kind of external battery you get... it will be heavy. Very heavy. So heavy that it does NOT make it a vacuum cleaner for the kitchen, but for more... serious and "professional" use.
The best thing I have ever tried! It is powerful, its battery lasts for a very long time, and it sucks up everything! It does the job with carpet fibers, but if they are stuck, it requires some work...
I bought it because it was simply CHEAP and had many good reviews. (The vacuum cleaner is around €40)
In terms of use, it does what it's supposed to do, nothing more and nothing less!
Its weight has to do with the battery you will put in it, its plastics are good, its accessories are according to its price (nothing extraordinary but they definitely do their job)
+ The biggest positive is that: WHATEVER breaks from the moment of the initial investment, it costs less than €40, whether it's the battery, the vacuum cleaner, or the charger.
- The only "negative" is that it's not aesthetically pleasing as a device, it's very "tool-like" but... okay!
We do NOT leave the charger permanently plugged in, so it doesn't "consume" unnecessary hours.
