The Esperanza burner is enamel-coated, meaning it is the classic burner with the heating element underneath and the surface around it is made of enamel coating, which results from applying enamel (glass) onto metal.

It is very good value for money, just don't expect to cook in the same time as with kitchen stoves - calculate more.
It is very lightweight, easy to clean, but not powerful at all, poorly constructed, smells when it is turned on, as soon as you plug it in, it starts working without even flipping the switch. You get what you pay for.
For its price, it's just fine. The secret with these stoves is not to run them on 5 for too long. Otherwise, they don't last very long.
It is the most honest for the money it costs... It boils and fries just fine, it may take a little time when you boil or fry a large quantity, but for the money you pay, it is a gem
nice cheap stove for most uses like frying and brewing coffee. It is not that strong, but it does the job pretty good for the money.
It has 5 levels, on level 4 and above you fry relatively quickly.... The first time you turn it on it smokes a little and smells burnt, then it settles.... for its price it is good....

Three stars because there are no clear instructions for assembling the switch. The way I placed it, when the device is turned off, instead of being at zero, it is between 4 and 5. Also, when I turn it off, it doesn't have any "steps" to make sure it has actually turned off. Otherwise, its performance is satisfactory. I will come back after a year and maybe then reconsider my rating.
