    Whoever invented "low-rise" men's underwear either didn't have the corresponding reproductive system or was a sadist.

    Unfortunately, I was misled by a previous purchase and thought I was buying the same underwear with a more "deep" cut.

The elastic bands on the legs, where the lycra is, start fraying very early, resulting in it feeling like boxer shorts even when freshly washed (which theoretically should be tighter).     If you want cheap underwear and you don't care about how long it will last, then it's a good choice. Every time I bought sloggi, they barely lasted. The Levi's ones I have had for 3 years and they haven't had any issues, but they are clearly more expensive. In the end, you get what you pay for.
