- From the factory, it comes with satisfactory sharpness, but it is easy to sharpen.
- The handle made of American Tulipwood, as I have noticed in other Boker knives, needs a little oil to "revive". By nature, this wood darkens quite a bit (more than in the photos).
- The handle could be a little more ergonomic, as it is somewhat of a Nakiri kitchen knife. The weight falls entirely on the handle, resulting in improper grip during cutting. It has quite thick angles without bevels, which also does not help. It would also help if the blade width was larger and resembled more of a cleaver.
- Otherwise, there is nothing comparable to this type, so for collectors or for effects in a barbecue/picnic, it is very nice. It fits comfortably in a pocket.
