    I have no opinion on whether it is accurate like a mercury thermometer, but it maintains a stable temperature (I measure it twice in a row every month to see if there is any deviation). The construction is of good quality and I believe it takes a normal amount of time to take the measurement

    This one may take 1 minute, but it is as accurate as a mercury one.. I highly recommend it :)
